Li ZiChao, and his father Li Zing (Chinese) are the only two Covid-19 infected foreigners in Vietnam. After nearly a month of quarantine and treatment at Cho Ray Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City, both of them were discharged with negative test results with Covid-19 on February 12, 2020.
In particular, before returning to his home country, Mr. Li ZiChao wrote a letter to the doctors of Cho Ray Hospital on behalf of his father.
"[...] And we feel really sorry, it's our arrival to cause the trouble for you, sincerely bow to you. Sorry! [...] The professional of your treatment and careful medicare you offer to us, we understand them from our heart, especially the doctor gave my father extra 10 days medicines when he was discharged, such kindness and such carefulness action that moved us. [...] With unfamiliar with the city, we just didn't find appropriate fruits, food or other gifts to give back to our dear doctors and nurses. We were ashamed and felt guilty to all doctors and nurses as our friends, we do want to bring them something in retum. Although we have left regrets here but your kindness will be always in our hearts [...]" - quoted in the letter written in English by Li ZiChao.
