Da Nang stops the 2020 International Fireworks Festival

Accordingly, after 11 consecutive years of successful organization, the 2020 festival was promoted by the city. However, after a period of consideration, the People's Committee of Da Nang City decided to temporarily suspend this year's festival to limit activities attracting large crowds to prevent the Covid-19 epidemic. In addition, because the supply of main materials for the festival is related to epidemic areas, the city is also not proactive.

The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival has been allowed by the Prime Minister to be "organized annually" since 2008, without using the state budget. The competition has become a brand of Da Nang, attracting many large teams representing China, the US, Italy, Finland... to participate.
