Sharing with Travellive, he said: "I started with the first cup of tea and gradually became fascinated by the layers of flavor and tranquility that tea brings." From his personal passion, Tra Vu wants to spread the love of tea to the community, especially the youth. He is also one of the founders of the community tea project "Societea - General Association of Tea and Tea" connecting and creating opportunities for tea lovers to meet, share and experience the art of tea drinking.
In the hustle and bustle of life, tea has become part of the popular slow-living trend. After the Covid-19 pandemic, when people began to be more aware of the importance of mental and physical health, many young people turned to tea as a way to calm down, relax and find balance in life. For today's youth, tea is not just a daily drink but also a passion and an indispensable part of Vietnamese culture. Many young people spend time learning about the history, processing and brewing of tea and are willing to invest in opening tea shops, creating a culturally rich tea-drinking space.
Young people find connection and peace in every cup of tea.
Many young people participate in tea workshops, where they not only learn how to make tea but also get inspired by a slow, green and healthy lifestyle. For them, tea is not only a traditional drink but also a part of the journey to find peace of mind. Therefore, tea has become an important part of the Zen lifestyle, where each sip is not only about enjoying the taste but also an opportunity to be quiet and listen to yourself.

Tea man - tea storyteller
The change in the way young people receive tea in recent years is undeniable. Tea is no longer considered an "old" drink but has become a trend in the young community. Tra Vu explained: "After Covid, people value a slow, quiet life. Along with many activities of meditation, green living, healthy living, tea is a part of that."

Tea has the ability to change the human soul.
Tra Vu believes that tea has the ability to change the human soul. However, drinking tea is not simply a way to “calm down” as many young people today know. He shares that, in order to feel the tranquility in tea, we must first “process” our mind. Only when the mind is balanced and relaxed, can we fully enjoy tea. Tea is not only a drink but also a way to train the soul, helping people find serenity in a busy life.

The Societea project was born as a bridge, attracting many young people to tea. However, Tra Vu also frankly shared about the misconception of many people when they first approach tea: "Many young people come and think that drinking tea is to calm their mind, but that thinking is wrong from the very nature because if the mind is not calm, it cannot be calm. Only when the mind is calm can it be expressed on the tea table. As I have practiced tea ceremony for many years, the tools to train the mind have gradually improved." He emphasized that tea ceremony is not only for enjoyment but also a means to train the mind. "We use tea to show sincerity, like in entertaining guests and treating our friends," Tra Vu said.

Every sip of tea, a moment of peace, a chance to listen to yourself
The remarkable thing about Societea is that it has attracted young people who were not initially interested in tea. The message that Tra Vu and the project want to convey is very simple: "It is not necessary to love tea too much, but tea can be used to connect". The workshops and tea parties organized by Societea are not only places to enjoy delicious cups of tea but also a space for people to interact, share and find harmony in their souls.
The enthusiasm and efforts of Tra Vu and the Societea project have contributed to creating a new breeze, blowing a youthful and modern vitality into Vietnamese tea culture. The fact that young people are increasingly interested in and seeking out tea ceremony is not only a temporary trend but also a sign of the growing respect for traditional values and the need to find balance in life. A cup of tea is now not only a drink but also a symbol of connection, tranquility and the beauty of Vietnamese culture in the eyes of the young generation.

"Enjoying tea is not simply drinking a cup of tea to quench your thirst, but it is a way for us to immerse ourselves in nature, feeling the purity and gentleness in every breath. Each tea bud carries a story, from the vast tea hills to the skillful hands of the maker. When sipping tea, we seem to be brought back to old memories, to the times we sat with grandparents, parents, and close friends around a cozy tea table," he emphasized.
Tra Vu's passion and dedication have created a unique Vietnamese tea style, different from tea cultures such as Japan, China or Taiwan. "Thanks to the tireless efforts of young people, Vietnamese tea culture is becoming more widely known and becoming an important part of the diverse picture of Vietnamese culture," Tra Vu shared.
