Alma Resort Appoints New Executive Chef

Alma Resort has appointed Ingo Stöneberg as Executive Chef for its 196-villa and 384-apartment luxury beachfront resort located on Bai Dai Beach in Cam Ranh Peninsula.

Alma Resort is situated on a sprawling 30-hectare plot of land on the stunning Bai Dai beach of the pristine Cam Ranh peninsula. Symbolizing the continuous development of Vietnam's tourism industry, the large-scale and luxurious Alma resort complex comprises 580 upscale villas and apartments, all boasting breathtaking ocean views.

Constantly striving to improve service quality, Alma Resort recently appointed Mr. Ingo Stöneberg as the resort's new Executive Chef. A German national, Mr. Ingo Stöneberg has nearly twenty years of experience working in the luxury hotel industry across Europe and the Middle East. Prior to joining Alma, Ingo Stöneberg served as Executive Sous Chef for Emirates Flight Catering in Dubai for four years. Emirates Flight Catering is the world's largest in-flight catering service provider, serving 120 airlines and VIP lounges at Dubai International Airport with 225,000 meals daily.

Ingo Stöneberg also served as head chef at the Hilton Hotel in Abu Dhabi for over two years and worked at several other five-star hotels, including the Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates in Dubai. He was also part of the pre-opening team for the Jumeirah at Etihad Towers and several other Starwood Hotels & Resorts properties, such as The Romanos, A Luxury Collection Resort, and The Westin Resort in Costa Navarino, Messinia, Greece.

Ingo Stöneberg will officially be the Quality Manager for the chain of 14 dining areas within Alma Resort, including an Italian restaurant, an Asian restaurant, a Vietnamese restaurant, 3 bars, and a food court serving a diverse range of Vietnamese and international dishes. Beyond his management skills, he has a particular passion for teaching and inspiring the Alma Resort kitchen staff.

Ingo Stöneberg stated that he and his team will make Alma one of Vietnam's leading culinary destinations, always proud and faithful to traditional cooking methods "as in the old days, using only fresh, seasonal ingredients, and completely free of any chemicals or food preservatives."
