Impressive multi-brand development plan in 2024 with a list of 19 new hotels opening

By 2024, Banyan Group’s impressive development plans will include 19 new hotels and properties in Cambodia, China, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam and Mexico. Here’s a summary of the highlights:
- Laying the first foundation in the Cambodian market with the launch of Angsana Siem Reap
- Opening of Banyan Tree Higashiyama Kyoto, the first Banyan Tree brand in Japan
- Strengthening presence in Vietnam and South Korea; two new hotels will open in Vietnam, Angsana Quan Lan in Ha Long Bay and Garrya Mu Cang Chai in Yen Bai, as well as launching Cassia and Homm Sokcho in South Korea
- Two resort complexes are being introduced in Suzhou, about 2 hours by train or car from Shanghai, with the presence of two brands Banyan Tree and Angsana at the Shishan complex, and the second one located on Yang Cheng Lake will include Banyan Tree and Garrya.
- Angsana Tengchong will be the group's fifth hotel in Yunnan province, China
- In North America, Banyan Tree Veya Valle de Guadalupe will officially mark the launch of the Banyan Tree Veya brand in Mexico.

In 2024, Banyan Group will develop a comprehensive sustainability roadmap to 2030 based on the United Nations Climate Science-based Targets framework. The plan is designed to ensure that human and environmental development are aligned with the group’s founding principles of “Embracing the Environment, Empowering People”. This is also the start of a pilot project, reinforcing the group’s commitment to accelerating the transformation of the tourism industry to regenerative and restorative models.
Banyan Group also plans to launch Laguna Lakelands in Phuket, an ambitious development that will be developed in harmony with nature. Spanning 110 hectares, Laguna Lakelands will include a rainforest-themed park, over 10 km of skywalks, and six distinct areas: orchard, lake, lagoon, valley and forest – ushering in a new era of eco-living.
In 2024, Banyan Group will develop a comprehensive sustainable development roadmap to 2030 based on the United Nations' "Climate Science-based Targets" climate indicator framework.
New programs and initiatives
Also in 2024, Banyan Group will launch “Beyond” – a digital companion that offers a new holistic Wellbeing experience, built on a framework of health and spirit balance. In addition, the group will also introduce a loyalty program called “with Banyan”, with very special benefits for participating members, focusing on experience and interaction. To spread the new source brand name, Banyan Group will organize 11 major promotional campaigns globally, launch 8 signature scents inspired by the group’s 8 values of balanced living and limited handicraft gift sets, all crafted by local artisans at destinations where Banyan Group is present.
