Gen Z founder started with a passion for second-hand goods.
As someone with a taste that does not limit himself to familiar everyday designs, Tran Khanh Duy - founder of the Fancì Club brand, constantly creates products in his own way. Starting from a second-hand clothing store, it was not until 2020 that Duy Tran really made a big splash in the fashion industry when Fancì Club's designs were "chosen" by the BlackPink girls in the MV "Lovesick Girls".
With the global reputation of the four YG girls, it is not difficult to guess that the influence of BlackPink has a very positive impact on the “made in Vietnam” brand. Behind the gorgeous appearance of big stars, after only a short time, the local Vietnamese brand quickly built a name and scored points in the hearts of fashionistas. The brand has even been highly praised by leading fashion magazines in the world such as Vogue, Who What Wear, 10magazine, Sheesh!...

Few people know that the Vietnamese local brand that "brings the bell to strike foreign lands" comes from a multi-talented Gen Z guy born in 1999. Starting from a passion for secondhand goods, the brand initially focused on recycled design products. When approaching secondhand goods, Duy Tran discovered that there were many fabrics that were quite new and still usable but were thrown away, not only a waste but also harmful to the environment. From this situation, the 9x guy came up with the idea of recycling to "breathe a new wind" into secondhand fashion.
Later, seeing enthusiastic support from fashion enthusiasts, Duy Tran started his own design from deadstock materials and most recently, combining typical materials from local regions of Vietnam.

Bold and sexy but not because it's "revealing"
When mentioning Fancì Club, people will immediately think of unique designs, eye-catching outfit combinations and new, "one-of-a-kind" colors. The design style is mostly inspired by confident women who are passionate about beauty and know how to love themselves. They understand their own value and thereby inspire a large number of fashion enthusiasts. Therefore, issues such as cultural barriers and conservative thinking will not prevent them from wearing designs to create attraction and confidence.
Influenced by Eastern culture, Vietnam still has many dress codes with a discreet and elegant fashion mindset. Meanwhile, Fancì dares to show the difference from a Gen Z leader and takes a completely opposite step. This creates a unique highlight, highlighting the brand among the crowd of other Vietnamese local brands today.

Talking to Travellive readers, Duy Tran said: “Fancì Club’s designs are encapsulated in the words: bold, sexy and feminine. Bold and sexy not because of ‘revealing’, but the brand focuses on beauty such as body curves. Femininity does not lie in targeting a specific gender but is expressed through the choice of materials and colors.”
The products are a combination of Y2K style with the feminine, fragile, and sexy features of women. When looking at Fancì's clothes, at first people often comment that they are picky about the wearer, but just look closely and understand fashion deeply, you will realize the "unique quality" that is especially rare.

Customers who come to the brand’s designs are individuals who understand their bodies. They know where their beauty comes from and are confident in who they are. With that in mind, the local brand draws inspiration from people for its designs. They can come from anywhere, work in diverse professions, but they live proudly and still maintain their integrity. This is the brand’s design philosophy: Create products that act as a “catalyst” to help those beautiful people become more confident and love themselves more.
Vietnamese brands "woo" big stars
From red carpet fashion, music fashion to street style, it is not difficult to see Fancì's outfits in any field next to celebrities. Even top stars from international to domestic such as BlackPink, Hailey Bieber, Dua Lipa, Doja Cat, Nayeon (TWICE), Mai Davika, Ngu Thu Han, Ngoc Trinh, Dieu Nhi, Trendy sister Khanh Linh... are all crazy about their designs.

The local brand’s name became more popular in 2020, when BlackPink member Rosé wore the brand’s brown corset and posted a photo on her Instagram account with tens of millions of followers. That same year, the brand also provided outfits for Rosé and Jennie in the MV “Lovesick Girls”. In September 2022, the Vietnamese brand continued to be “chosen” when it appeared in the Korean girl group’s MV “Pink Venom”.

More specifically, during the two shows at My Dinh National Stadium in July 2023, two BlackPink members, Jisoo and Lisa, wore outfits specially designed by the brand in their solo performances on their first performances in Vietnam. Jisoo's purple dress and Lisa's yellow corset are both products from the local brand. It can be seen that BlackPink's stylist is one of Fancì's loyal customers.
Not only BlackPink, many famous US-UK international stars such as singer Doja Cat, Olivia Rodrigo or supermodel Bella Hadid have also worn the brand's clothes.
