Park Hyatt Saigon is proud to bring the third season of Passion Week back to Ho Chi Minh City, much to the delight of connoisseurs.

As part of the Park Hyatt Masters of Food & Wine program, Passion Week is an upgraded version, bringing together the world's leading experts in many fields and prestigious Michelin chefs to awaken the senses of distinguished guests through a week filled with art, aesthetics, artistic inspiration, and unique cuisine.

Over four days from 16 to 19 November 2022, Passion Week will host a series of inspirational masterclasses and gourmet culinary experiences, promising to deliver a top-class and high-caliber arts event in the region.

Culinary experience with Michelin star chef

In addition to the inspiring classes, Passion Week also offers four luncheons and four dinners, all menued and prepared by Michelin-starred chefs. Each evening, guests are invited to enjoy welcome cocktails, chat with the renowned chefs, watch them create their signature dishes in the open kitchen and share memorable stories around the table.

• Chef Alan Taudon * - One Michelin star

With a long and illustrious career, Chef Alan Taudon has held many important positions at famous restaurants such as Le Meurice, Pavillon Ledoyen (3 Michelin stars), Le Cinq (3 Michelin stars) before starting a new journey at L'Orangerie (1 Michelin star) as Executive Chef. Pursuing a healthy and low-fat cooking style, his dishes attract diners with rich flavors and distinctive aromas, promising a balanced and feminine culinary journey.

• Chef Sven Erik Renaa ** - Two Michelin stars

Lunch and Dinner on November 17, 2022

Chef Sven Erik Renaa's culinary career began at the Britannia Hotel and went on to Aden Etage at the Hotel Continental Oslo, before joining renowned Chef David Burke at Park Avenue Café in New York. He then returned to Oslo to work with Bocuse d'Or winner Terje Ness as Head Chef at ORO. His extensive experience led him to become a Mentor and Lecturer at The Culinary Institute of Norway, and to successfully launch RE-NAA, the first restaurant outside of Oslo to receive two Michelin stars.

• Chef Paolo Casagrande *** - Three Michelin stars

Paolo Casagrande began his journey through countless restaurants across Italy to discover the world of cuisine and hone his cooking skills. This journey also took him to the world's top restaurants in Milan, London and Paris such as Les Elysées du Vernet (2 Michelin stars) and Taillevent (3 Michelin stars). Paolo then became the manager of the culinary project of the Monument Hotel, which owns the Lasarte (3 Michelin stars) and Oria (1 Michelin star).

• Chef Emmanuel Renaut *** - Three Michelin stars

As one of the pioneers of French cuisine, Emmanuel Renaut is sought after by connoisseurs worldwide. His mastery was honed in the kitchens of the prestigious Hotel de Crillon and Auberge de l'Eridan. Emmanuel then made it his mission to inspire and raise awareness about respecting culinary heritage. The opening of Flocons de Sel in 1997 inspired him to pursue his philosophy, earning the restaurant prestigious Michelin stars in 2001, 2006, and 2012.
