The upcoming "Red Phoenix Flower" train marks a new milestone for Vietnam's railway industry, promising a world-class travel experience on the Hanoi-Hai Phong route. Scheduled to launch in May, before May 13th to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong's liberation, this train will not only be a means of transportation but also a luxurious tourist destination.
"Hoa Phượng Đỏ" consists of 20 new carriages, designed in the Indochine style, harmoniously blending classic and modern elements. A special highlight is the two VIP carriages, each with 16 single sofas and 5 long sofa sets, providing comfortable seating for 20 people. The interior boasts a luxurious space with natural wood flooring, a bar serving drinks and live music, along with free Wi-Fi. The remaining carriages are equipped with 56 180-degree swivel seats, carpeted floors, stone-patterned plastic wall panels, and decorative LED ceiling lights, creating a feeling of luxury and comfort.

The train is clad in three main colors: blue, white, and red, symbolizing the flamboyant flower, the national flower of Hai Phong. Images of ocean waves are also cleverly incorporated into the design, creating a connection with the port city. A representative from the Vietnam Railway Transport Joint Stock Company stated that the "Red Flamboyant Flower" train has undergone a comprehensive upgrade to become a luxury train, a unique railway tourism product that attracts tourists and enhances the travel experience for visitors to Hai Phong.
In particular, the train has two VIP carriages, each equipped with 16 single sofas and 5 sets of long sofas, creating 20 seats distributed across three different areas.

"Hoa Phuong Do" (Red Phoenix Flower) is not just a trip, but a journey of enjoyment, where every moment is cherished and valued.
The wave pattern, a characteristic image of Hai Phong, is also cleverly incorporated into the ship's design, further enhancing its connection to the port city.
In recent years, the Hanoi-Hai Phong railway line has become an attractive destination for food tourism enthusiasts. In 2024, this line welcomed over 1.5 million passengers, demonstrating the strong appeal of railway tourism. Hai Phong City expects that, with the launch of "Red Phoenix Flower," the number of tourists will continue to grow strongly, contributing to the development of the local tourism industry.
To further enhance the appeal of railway tourism, the Hai Phong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is also organizing the Hai Phong Delicious Food Festival 2025 from May 9th to 14th at Hai Phong Railway Station, 75 Luong Khanh Thien Street, Ngo Quyen District. The event is expected to feature 40 food stalls showcasing specialties from Hai Phong and other localities.
