Gucci Osteria in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, California, is the newest restaurant bearing the name of the luxury fashion brand Gucci in recent years. While not Gucci's first foray into the culinary world, the restaurant has been incredibly successful in attracting discerning diners from around the globe, impressing experts, and remaining a popular destination to this day.
The restaurant is located on the rooftop of Gucci Rodeo Drive.

The restaurant serves authentic Italian cuisine, with a menu quite similar to Gucci Osteria's first restaurant in Florence, Italy. However, what makes it special is that all the dishes are made with fresh, authentic ingredients from California. The restaurant's head chef, Mattia Agazzi, achieved this by sourcing from local markets.
A quintessential Californian dessert available exclusively on the Gucci Osteria Beverly Hills menu.
Many dishes, although originating from Italy, have been subtly adapted to give diners a distinctly "California" feel. From Uni Carbonara with fresh Santa Barbara oysters to SoCal Spaghetto with local crab and Imperial Ossetra Caviar sprinkled on top.
The dish is inspired by art and travel at Gucci Osteria Beverly Hills.
Not only that, the restaurant also serves a wide variety of unique pizzas and pastas, as well as fresh salads, and sandwiches made with ribeye beef topped with a green Salsa Verde sauce and balsamic mayonnaise.
This "Risotto disguised as pizza" is made with tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella cheese.
"We are very fortunate to have access to the best ingredients in the world right outside our door. We also love exploring the culinary landscape of Los Angeles, a major city with a wealth of Californian beauty," Mattia Agazzi shared in a statement published by Travel + Leisure. "Using Californian ingredients to create a contemporary Italian dish has been incredibly inspiring for us."

Besides its exceptional cuisine, Gucci Osteria Beverly Hills also impresses with its classic and luxurious design and decor. Much of the restaurant's space is furnished with wood and marble. Located on the top floor of the Gucci Rodeo Drive store, the restaurant boasts a skyview that can captivate guests, offering vibrant cityscapes and a seemingly expansive skyline.
The restaurant's design is light and sophisticated.

The Michelin star award had been anticipated ever since the Gucci Osteria concept was developed by Gucci CEO Marco Bizzarri and his close friend, Massimo Bottura – a renowned chef behind the 3-Michelin-star Osteria Francescana restaurant in Modena, Italy. They combined the best of fashion and gastronomy at the first Gucci Osteria restaurant in Florence, Italy.
It was at the Florence restaurant that young chef Mattia Agazzi made a significant impression on Bottura, prompting him to appoint Agazzi as head chef for the Beverly Hills restaurant. This trust led to Agazzi's first Michelin-starred debut and contributed to the restaurant's success with its unique blend of Italian and Californian cuisine.
