Gucci Osteria in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, California is the latest restaurant to carry the Gucci name in recent years. Although it is not Gucci's first foray into the culinary field, the restaurant has been extremely successful in attracting many "gourmet" guests from all over the world, making a good impression on experts, and becoming an attractive destination until now.
The restaurant is located on the rooftop of Gucci Rodeo Drive.

The restaurant serves typical Italian dishes, with a menu quite similar to Gucci Osteria's first restaurant in Florence (Italy), however, the special thing is that all these dishes are made with fresh, authentic ingredients from California. The restaurant's head chef - Mattia Agazzi has achieved this by approaching the supply from local markets.

Many of the dishes, though Italian in origin, have been subtly altered to give a very “California” feel to those who have tasted them. From Uni Carbonara with fresh Santa Barbara oysters, to SoCal Spaghetto with local crab served with Imperial Ossetra Caviar sprinkled on top.

Not only that, the restaurant also serves a variety of unique pizzas and pastas, as well as fresh salads and sandwiches made with ribeye beef and topped with a green Salsa Verde sauce and balsamic mayonnaise.
"Risotto disguised as pizza" is made with tomatoes, basil and mozzarella cheese.
"We are very lucky to have the best ingredients in the world within easy reach. We also love exploring the culinary side of Los Angeles, a big city with a lot of Californian charm," Mattia Agazzi shared in a statement published by Travel + Leisure. "Using Californian ingredients to create a contemporary Italian dish has inspired us a lot."

In addition to its excellent cuisine, the Gucci Osteria Beverly Hills restaurant also impresses with its classic and luxurious design and decoration. Most of the restaurant's space is made of wood and marble. Located on the top floor of the Gucci Rodeo Drive fashion store, the restaurant has a skyview that can make guests "fall in love" when enjoying the lively view of the city from above and watching the horizon as it expands right before their eyes.
The restaurant's design is light and sophisticated.

The Michelin star has been anticipated ever since the Gucci Osteria concept was developed by Gucci CEO Marco Bizzarri and his close friend Massimo Bottura, the renowned chef behind the three Michelin-starred Osteria Francescana in Modena, Italy. They combined the best of fashion and cuisine at the first Gucci Osteria in Florence.
It was at the Florence restaurant that the young chef Mattia Agazzi made such an impression on Bottura that he appointed him as head chef of the Beverly Hills restaurant. His trust led to Agazzi’s first Michelin star and the success of the restaurant’s unique Italian-California cuisine.
