A culinary journey of luxury aboard the Paradise Elegance cruise ship.

09/08/2017

On August 23rd, Paradise Elegance – the newest and most luxurious cruise ship of Paradise Vietnam Group – will set sail on a culinary journey, the first of its kind in Ha Long Bay, featuring 2-Michelin-star chef Thierry Drapeau and Maximiliano Ortiz, a renowned Argentinian wine expert.

For the first time in the heart of a World Natural Heritage site, Paradise Vietnam presents "Haute Cuisine on the High Seas," an event to explore and discover the art of French cuisine – the cradle of European gastronomy – on the Paradise Elegance cruise ship. Guests will not only have the opportunity to satisfy their refined palates with chef Thierry Drapeau, but also immerse themselves in the breathtaking scenery of Ha Long Bay and experience diverse cultures during this 2-day, 1-night journey.

“Amidst increasingly saturated tourism offerings, Paradise Vietnam’s unique cruises are a breath of fresh air for Ha Long Bay tourism, meeting the goal of enhancing customer experience and developing internationally integrated tourism. We are proud to be the first to bring tourists the ambiance of a luxurious Michelin-starred restaurant right in the heart of Ha Long Bay,” said Edgar Cayanan, CEO of Paradise Vietnam Cruises.

The "Culinary Journey" on the Paradise Elegance cruise ship is the first and only event in Ha Long Bay to date featuring 2-Michelin-star chef Thierry Drapeau and renowned winemaker Maximiliano Ortiz from Trivento winery, Argentina.

"Dancing" with flavors at a luxurious dinner party on Paradise Elegance, Thierry Drapeau will delight food lovers with a five-course tasting menu. The most luxurious ingredients, such as black caviar, precious truffles, and exquisite foie gras, are personally selected and transported directly from France by Chef Thierry, blended with refined spices to satisfy even the most discerning palate. The meal will be perfected when paired with rich wines from the 100-year-old vines of the renowned Trivento winery. After dinner at Le Marin restaurant, the sweet melodies in the classic setting of Le Piano Bar, along with the aroma of cigars and glasses of cognac, will be the perfect finishing touch to the evening.
