Jennifer Aniston returns on Emirates flight

Hollywood actress, director and producer Jennifer Aniston returns to the Emirates A380 and makes a new friend, according to a new commercial that is part of the global TV and digital campaign for the world’s best airline (2016 Skytrax World Airline Awards).

This ad builds on the success of Emirates' first ad featuring Jennifer Aniston released last year, which went viral and generated a lot of buzz.

 

 

Following on from the first humorous commercial, the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actress brings her signature classic style, with a touch of humor, to showcase the A380. In the commercial, Jennifer befriends Cooper, a playful boy she meets on a flight. Jennifer finds him playing in her private suite in Emirates First Class, while she relaxes in the Shower Spa.

The two strike up a conversation and become friends as they stroll through Emirates’ Business Class cabin and onboard bar. Sitting on the stairs connecting the upper and lower decks of the aircraft, Cooper shares with Jennifer his aspirations to become a pilot – on the A380. In Economy Class, Cooper is reunited with his parents, and to everyone’s surprise, Jennifer chooses to stay and enjoy Emirates’ ice in-flight entertainment system with Cooper. The video ends with Cooper’s mother relaxing in Jennifer’s private suite, having swapped places with the Hollywood star.

The commercial was directed by veteran Oscar-nominated director Bryan Buckley, who has been acclaimed for his numerous Super Bowl commercials. The script and concept for the commercial were a collaboration between Buckley and Emirates’ advertising department, and was produced in association with WPP.
