The Val d'Orcia hills south of Siena are home to olive trees, wild herbs, wild boar, rabbits, cattle and deer. Specialty pastas are also magically transformed into dishes like hot casseroles and special sauces. Beans, fresh fruit and truffles grow abundantly on local farms. But the crown jewel of Tuscan cuisine is oak-roasted beef.Bistecca Fiorentina, marinated with olive oil and local herbs.

Chef Ivan Barone – who lived in Tuscany for more than 10 years – felt this was the moment he needed to take to introduce Saigon diners to the vibrant cuisine associated with his Italian childhood.
Ivan was exposed to Tuscan cuisine at a young age. He learned how to roll local pasta from the elders, discovered the unique flavors of the Val D'Orcia hills, and later opened a famous restaurant in this land. From childhood memories to the rich flavors of typical dishes from the Italian countryside, Ivan has become the inspiration for creating the special menu at the restaurant 'NAMO Tuscan Grill.
The delicacy of hand-pulled pappardelle pasta, the sizzling heat of wild boar, or the famous bistecca fiorentina beef grilled over charcoal, all the dishes at our new restaurant will have the most distinctive flavors, accompanied by an unforgettable experience.

Most of the ingredients are grown in the wild, so all are DOP certified –Denominazione di Origine Protetta(roughly translated as original origin). This means that dishes made from this ingredient will be guaranteed to be of absolute quality. The above mentioned excellent ingredients will mostly be used in the menu at 'NAMO.

Not only is the food praised all over the world, Italian wines are also favored in famous restaurants, with their own place in the most famous cellars. The masterpiece wines of Tuscany are known for their extraordinary diversity and excellent quality in flavor. Chianti and Brunello di Montalcino DOCG are two of the most loved red wines in the region. They are both made from Sangiovese grapes and will be the perfect drink to enjoy the typical flavor of Tuscan dishes.
Now, right in the kitchen of 'NAMO Tuscan Grill, Chef Ivan Barone will bring diners the most quintessential experience of Tuscany cuisine. This is the time for you to feel the identity and stories of Italy through the most flavorful and quality dishes.
