Other UK airports are also offering flights to Paris at bargain prices, with same-day return tickets starting from around £100. Eurostar, the high-speed train that typically has high fares in August, is offering return tickets from London St Pancras International to Paris Nord for under £200.
Regarding the French economic situation, the Bank of France announced that the country's economy is on track to grow by at least 0.35% in the third quarter thanks to the boost from Olympic-related activities.
