Experience “Saigon Gourmet Week” at Sofitel Saigon Plaza

Saigon Gourmet Week is an event for food connoisseurs in Ho Chi Minh City with classy and sophisticated dishes created by Michelin-starred chefs in a special event taking place at Sofitel Saigon Plaza from November 13-18, 2018.

The event featured Michelin-starred chefs including 3-star Michelin Chef Bruno Ménard (Singapore), 2-star Michelin Chef Michel Portos (Marseille, France), 1-star Michelin Chef Jean-Francois Bérard (La Cadiére d'Azur, France), 1-star Michelin Chef Jérôme Laurent (Shanghai, China) and Chef Régis Triguel (Moscow, Russia).

The 3rd Saigon Gourmet Week includes activities such as cooking classes and cooking demonstrations for lunch and dinner. The menu will change daily to bring diners a classy culinary experience.

The highlight of the program is the Gala Night with the competition between the Master Chefs on November 17, 2018 at Diamond Hall. Master Chefs will be divided into different teams with famous chefs in Vietnam directly preparing the main course for 120 guests. The Gala night program will include 4 dishes prepared by Chef Stephane Postoyan and his teammates, along with a main course from the competing teams of master chefs made from the main ingredients in the black box for the competition night.

The final program to close the event is the "Lunch Buffet with Super Chefs" on November 18, 2018 at Mezz restaurant. Diners will have the opportunity to enjoy dishes prepared by the superstar chefs and Head Chef Stéphane Postoyan.

The third edition of Saigon Gourmet Week is a testament to the mission that Sofitel Saigon Plaza has set out and is committed to bringing to its customers: bringing French culture and cuisine closer to gourmets in Vietnam.
