Soul Cake
This is the most popular food item on Halloween night. It is believed that when spirits awaken and roam the Earth on October 31st, if they eat this cake, they will not harm humans. The name "spirit cake" also comes from this legend. The cakes are usually round, topped with raisins arranged in a cross shape, and taste similar to Vietnamese cookies.
To add variety to the Halloween festivities, this treat is also decorated with various shapes such as skulls, spiders, and spooky ghost figures. Some regions of Germany make black soul cakes, while people in Austria often place them on graves.

Pumpkin soup
Besides carving pumpkin lanterns to place in their yards, people also prepare pumpkin soup to enjoy on Halloween. Different regions and countries have different recipes for this soup, but the most common are pumpkin soup cooked with beef or lamb; diced pumpkin and other vegetables, then topped with milk or cream. In addition to soup, pumpkin is also used to make various types of cakes and pastries with pumpkin filling.

Barnbrack cake
Barnbrack was first created by the Irish and quickly became a traditional Halloween treat around the world. It's served as a dessert and doesn't have a fixed recipe; the main ingredients are usually dried fruits.
What makes barnbrack special is that it always contains hidden objects that foretell the future. Three objects are typically mixed into the traditional barnbrack filling: a coin, a piece of cloth, and a ring. The coin symbolizes good fortune in money matters. Conversely, the cloth represents financial difficulties. And the ring foretells the recipient's love life.

Colcannon
Colcannon, a mashed potato pie, is one of the foods enjoyed during Halloween in many countries around the world. The main ingredients are mashed potatoes, kale, or cabbage, among others. Milk, cream, leeks, onions, or corn are also added for a richer, warmer flavor. A coin or a lucky charm is often hidden inside a colcannon.

Apple candy
"Trick or treat" is one of the most anticipated activities for children because they get lots of delicious candy. Halloween is also apple season, so Toffee Apples were created as a signature treat for this holiday. These large, round apples are covered in a glossy red syrup or sugar coating, making them incredibly appealing, even to adults.
