The 5th Argentinian Food Week in Hanoi was organized with the aim of introducing and promoting traditional Argentinian cuisine to Vietnamese friends. The week features the participation of Alberto Curia, Argentina's culinary ambassador.
In this program, discerning diners in the capital have the opportunity to meet renowned guest chef Alberto Curia – who has over 20 years of experience preparing Argentinian and Mediterranean dishes and has held many important positions such as honorary chef to the Argentinian Ambassador and Argentinian culinary ambassador. This is the second consecutive time Chef Alberto has come to Hanoi to participate in the week and share his love of Argentinian cuisine with diners in the capital.
Under the skillful hands of Chef Alberto, diners have the opportunity to experience the captivating flavors of famous South American dishes such as: empanadas (meat-filled pastries), carbonada (beef stew with Argentinian sweet corn), humita de choclo (corn cake stew), pork neck stew with Malbec apricot sauce, etc.
Ribeye steak is a dish that cannot be overlooked in Argentinian cuisine.
Of course, the most prized beef brisket steak, with its marbled marbling and distinctive aroma, is a must-have. This results in firm, sweet, and succulent meat that's anything but tough. What could be more delightful than savoring a melt-in-your-mouth steak with its rich, sweet flavor, paired with a glass of La Escondida Reserva Malbec 2014 Argentinian wine, amidst the vibrant rhythm of Tango and the crisp, cool early winter air of Hanoi?
Dinner will conclude with the sweet aftertastes of caramelized apple stew with wine and cinnamon, caramelized crepes, and the alluring, intoxicating Tiramisu.
