Flavors Vietnam 2023, themed "A New Level for the Food and Beverage Industry in Vietnam," features numerous events celebrating the country's culinary scene and aims to elevate Vietnam's F&B (Food & Beverage) industry to new heights. According to the Mastercard Institute of Economics, consumers are increasingly prioritizing dining out over cooking at home. Spending on restaurant services increased by 16% from January 2022 to August 2022. This is a driving force behind the continued growth of Vietnam's F&B industry, aiming to become one of the most vibrant culinary markets in the world.
Season 4, considered the biggest season yet for Flavors Vietnam, welcomes the return of the Vietnamese Food and Beverage Workshop, the Vietnamese Restaurant & Bar Awards (Banh Mi Awards), and the Potential Chef Challenge. In particular, the Restaurant and Bar Week will last two weeks and expand to the coastal city of Da Nang, Hanoi, and Ho Chi Minh City, featuring a diverse range of restaurants and bars.

Alongside the growing culinary demands of consumers, the Vietnamese F&B industry has been actively embracing a cashless digital future. In 2022, 94% of Vietnamese consumers used at least one digital payment solution, demonstrating openness and enthusiasm in adopting new digital payment methods.
Vietcetera and Mastercard have reportedly encouraged consumers to use cashless payment solutions at Flavors Vietnam events. This goal continues to be promoted in this year's program with exclusive benefits for Mastercard cardholders.
