Accordingly, Vietcetera and Mastercard continue to cooperate to co-organize the Flavors Vietnam culinary festival for the 4th year, exploiting every touchpoint in the Vietnamese dining experience.
Flavors Vietnam 2023 takes the theme "New heights of the Food and Beverage industry in Vietnam", with many events honoring the country's cuisine, aiming to bring the Vietnamese F&B (Food & Beverage) industry to new heights. It is known that Mastercard continues to be a companion in the role of payment technology partner. Diners have the opportunity to receive exclusive offers for Mastercard cardholders when making contactless payments at any restaurant or bar within the program.

According to Mastercard Economic Institute, consumers increasingly prefer eating out over cooking at home. Spending on restaurant services increased by 16% from January 2022 to August 2022. This is the driving force for the Vietnamese F&B industry to continue to grow, moving towards becoming one of the most vibrant culinary markets in the world.
Season 4 is considered the biggest season of Flavors Vietnam, welcoming the return of the Vietnam Food and Beverage Conference, the Vietnam Restaurant & Bar Awards (Banh Mi Awards) and the Potential Chef Challenge. In particular, the Restaurant and Bar Week will last for two weeks, and expand to the coastal cities of Da Nang, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with many diverse restaurants and bars.
"For Vietcetera, Flavors is a project of special importance, helping us join hands to build a strong, progressive and youthful Vietnamese F&B community. From an award held in a small restaurant in District 1 to a large stage with thousands of people, traveling to many cities with hundreds of great partners, just like the journey of a Banh Mi from a popular street food to an image of national culinary culture. Every year, it is the time when "spices" are seasoned and honored, in the journey to bring the world to Vietnam and from Vietnam to the world", Thuy Minh, CCO of Vietcetera shared.

In parallel with the growing culinary needs of consumers, the Vietnamese F&B industry has been actively embracing a cashless digital future. By 2022, 94% of Vietnamese consumers will use at least one digital payment solution, showing openness and enthusiasm in embracing new digital payment methods.
It is known that Vietcetera and Mastercard have encouraged consumers to use cashless payment solutions at Flavors Vietnam events. This goal continues to be promoted in this year's program with exclusive benefits for Mastercard cardholders. At the same time, this is also a great opportunity to promote cashless payment habits of consumers and F&B businesses.
Country Manager of Mastercard Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos

Mastercard will continuously leverage its technology, market understanding, expertise and partnerships to fulfill its commitment to promote local businesses to digitally transform and unleash their full potential."
In addition, the highlight of Flavors Vietnam is the Vietnam Restaurant & Bar Awards, also known as the "Banh Mi Awards". The award was created to honor the innovative chefs and bartenders in the Vietnamese restaurant and bar community to bring Vietnam further on the world culinary map.
