Mang Den is a popular tourist destination located 50 km northeast of Kon Tum city center (Kon Tum province).

Mang Den is a town in Kon Plong district, Kon Tum province, located on a plateau in the Truong Son mountain range at an altitude of 1,200 meters above sea level and boasting a rich system of pristine forest vegetation. Therefore, the climate in Mang Den is quite mild and cool, with fresh air and temperatures ranging from 16 to 22 degrees Celsius. It is often referred to as the "second Da Lat."

Dodo said that some familiar destinations that tourists often visit include: Dak Ke Lake, Khanh Lam Pagoda, Our Lady of Mang Den, Kon Pring Community Tourism Village, Pa Sy Waterfall, Dam Bri Lake, Reed Grass Hill, Mang Den Grass Hill, 37 Households Area, Suspension Bridge, Kon Tu Rang terraced rice fields and farms.

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable trip to Mang Den, Dodo also offers a few tips for tourists.

First, bring warm clothing and sportswear for outdoor activities, and avoid wearing green, blue, and black to stand out in photos. Next, bring insect repellent if you plan to go into the forest. Many places in Mang Den aren't on maps, so seek out a local if you want to know about unique destinations.

Furthermore, Mang Den lacks the amenities and entertainment options found in larger cities, so visitors should prepare sufficient cash as there are very few ATMs in the area. Restaurants and shops in Mang Den also close quite early (8-9 PM).

The tourist destinations are mostly waterfalls, lakes, or pine forests, so the paths will be very slippery. You should wear lightweight shoes with good grip to avoid foot pain or slipping and falling while moving around.

"As someone working in the tourism industry, I hope that visitors to Mang Den will always have a spirit of love for nature and environmental protection to preserve the beauty of this land. This will be a paradise for those who love exploration, love beautiful natural scenery, love peace, and also a place to relax and heal," Dodo said.
