Recently, with the desire to create an active lifestyle trend and build a healthy community, Garmin and Meliá Hotels & Resort organized a 2-day, 1-night “Be More” journey at Meliá Ho Tram with many exciting activities to encourage participants to exercise more, relax more, and understand themselves better. The event was attended by Miss Vietnam 2014 Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen, Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 Ngoc Chau, singer ST Son Thach, photographer Thien Minh, MC Misoa, singer Ai Phuong, influencer Annie Nguyen, journalist and life skills consultant Jenni Vo, and a senior trainer at Elite Fitness.
The highlight of the program was the talk show "Be More of Your Better Self," featuring an open exchange and discussion among guests on the topics of "Self-Love" and "How to Become a Better Version of Yourself." The speakers agreed that self-love means striving to maintain healthy habits and making daily efforts to improve oneself in a joyful, enthusiastic, and stress-free manner.

In response to the question, "How can we become a better version of ourselves?", Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 Ngoc Chau shared her personal perspective: "We will be motivated to change when we see the consequences. For example, when we work too much, at a certain age, we easily become exhausted. There are days when we feel tired after only five hours of work, whereas with the same workload, we could do it without any problems before. Or today we are working normally, but tomorrow we wake up with all our energy gone. That's when our body is speaking up. When the body sends out signals, we need to understand why so we can plan to get our bodies healthy again."
To maintain a positive lifestyle and healthy habits, in addition to personal effort, guests also acknowledged the usefulness of health tracking tools and devices like Garmin. Mr. Lam Khanh Hao - Senior Coach at Elite Fitness shared: “One very useful feature of Garmin is personalized workouts. People can flexibly design and combine multiple exercises in a single workout. I find the sleep scoring feature very valuable, helping to measure sleep duration and analyze sleep stages such as deep sleep, light sleep, and dreaming. The watch also tracks the impact of work stress on the body's energy levels, thereby suggesting appropriate rest and exercise times to return to a balanced state.”

During this Be More journey, each guest was equipped with a Garmin GPS smartwatch with comprehensive health and fitness tracking features: Venu 3 Series or vívoactive 5, etc. Guests also had the opportunity to directly experience the features of Garmin watches through a sunrise workout at Beach Garden with guidance from Elite Fitness coaches, including a 20-minute HIIT workout and a 20-minute meditation session. Throughout the workout, users could track calories burned, heart rate, breathing rate, and energy levels directly on their Garmin watches during the HIIT session.
Another highlight of the trip is the "healthy" meals with a special menu designed by Meliá Ho Tram, themed around nourishing the mind and spirit. These include nutritious, wholesome dishes with Mediterranean flavors, prepared from fresh ingredients sourced locally in Ho Tram.
