On this occasion, Gyeonggi Province announced the decision to establish a Tourism Delegation to promote Gyeonggi Tourism, including 36 members from: Gyeonggi Provincial Tourism Promotion Agency, related agencies and travel businesses. Accordingly, from May 28 to June 2, 2017, the above units will coordinate to organize a series of events such as B2B Meeting, Tourism Introduction Seminar, non-verbal art performance... to widely promote Gyeonggi's tourism resources such as film studios, theme parks, ski resorts, restaurant facilities, resorts,... to the target audience of travel businesses in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
Since the Mers epidemic ended in 2015, Vietnam has been considered a potential tourism market, reflected by a growth rate of 54.5%, ranking second in the list of international tourists to Korea in 2016. Realizing this development potential early, the Gyeonggi Provincial Government has been planning to exploit and develop the Vietnamese market after the Chinese Government banned Chinese tourists from traveling to Korea.

On that basis, on May 30 and June 1, Gyeonggi Province in coordination with the Korea Tourism Organization in Vietnam will promote the organization of meetings with Vietnamese tourism businesses and press agencies through activities such as B2B Meeting and the Gyeonggi - Vietnam Friendship Night event in two major cities, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. At the conference, the Korea Tourism Organization in Vietnam will also present tourism product topics to encourage Vietnamese tourism companies to build in the second half of 2017 along with the support that KTO will provide to partners.
At the upcoming B2B Meetings, the Gyeonggi Tourism Delegation will meet with travel agencies in Vietnam to introduce the province's tourism resources as well as discuss and exchange to enhance substantive cooperation in building support networks, developing and selling products.
Petite France French Village atGyeonggi
On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea, Gyeonggi Province will also organize the Vietnam - Gyeonggi Friendship Night program with the participation of representatives of travel agencies, press agencies, and airlines in Vietnam. In particular, the program will have the participation of a famous non-verbal art troupe from Korea, promising to be a memorable event in the cooperative relationship between Gyeonggi and Vietnamese businesses.
In addition, at the event on June 1 in Ho Chi Minh City, Gyeonggi Province will appoint the family of artist Huy Khanh, one of the influential artists in Vietnam, to hold the position of Tourism Ambassador of Gyeonggi Province - Korea.

Everland atGyeonggi
Immediately after the Roadshow ends, a reality TV show introducing Gyeonggi tourism with the participation of artist Huy Khanh’s family will be broadcast in Vietnam. Through this, Gyeonggi Province hopes that the show will be a bridge to bring Vietnamese tourists to visit famous places here.
To carry out this program, on May 10, Gyeonggi province contacted and officially invited artist Huy Khanh's family to Gyeonggi to film the Korean version of the program "Oh My Baby!". The original version was broadcast on two channels HTV2 and VTVCA1, with a viewership rate of 2.1% (Ho Chi Minh City area), the program received positive responses from Vietnamese audiences. At the same time, through this Roadshow program, Gyeonggi province hopes to widely introduce tourism resources to partners as well as Vietnamese tourists.
