Traveloka Epic Sale 2023 brings international travel closer to Vietnamese tourists.
As one of Traveloka's most anticipated annual travel events, Epic Sale 2023 returned successfully, allowing Vietnamese customers to enjoy travel during the upcoming April 30th - May 1st holiday with a series of attractive promotions offering up to 50% off on flights, hotels, and entertainment tickets. In particular, the campaign, with its appealing deals that eased financial burdens, helped Vietnamese users confidently choose international destinations.
The Traveloka Epic Sale 2023 campaign recorded a 2.3-fold increase in app and website traffic during Flash Sale hours, attracting over 371,000 viewers to Livestreams and reaching over 32,000 downloads of the Traveloka app. Bookings for the April 30th holiday doubled compared to the previous week. Data from the Traveloka Epic Sale 2023 also showed a 2-fold increase in international bookings compared to the previous month – clear evidence of the strong response from Vietnamese travelers to overseas trips.

Among the international destinations noted in the program, Thailand has become the most popular choice for Vietnamese tourists due to its lower airfare and hotel room rates compared to other Southeast Asian countries, with bookings to Thailand tripling compared to the previous month. Besides Thailand, other foreign destinations such as South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan are also attracting significant interest from Vietnamese travelers.

Traveloka's EPIC Sale program not only benefits users but also supports the strong growth of its partners. This year, the EPIC Sale program has seen the participation of over 1000 hotel and airline partners, and more than 70 tour and entertainment ticket providers. Participating partners have seen a threefold increase in traveler bookings, while Traveloka's bookings have doubled compared to the same period last month.

Ms. Hoang Linh Duyen, Sales Director of Mikazuki Japanese Resorts & Spa Danang, shared the following after the event: “Traveloka’s EPIC campaign has given a boost to the domestic market during the off-season.
