A unique journey to experience the Asian lifestyle - Kilorun Hanoi 2019

On the afternoon of March 3rd, Index Creative Village, in collaboration with AirAsia, organized the "Kilorun Hanoi 2019" festival, part of the "Asian Lifestyle Experience Journey" event series. The festival was uniquely designed to combine running, culinary exploration, and enjoyment all in one trip.

Within the framework of the event, Kilorun Hanoi was honored to welcome Mr. Thanee Sangrat - Ambassador of Thailand to Vietnam; Mr. Kreingkrai Kanjaanapokin - Founder and CEO of Index Creative Village; Ms. Witchunee Kuntapeng - Director of Customer Service at AirAsia Thailand; Mr. Kiattikhun Chartprasert - Ambassador of Thailand to Vientiane, Lao People's Democratic Republic; Ambassador Jukr Boon-Long and Ambassador Theerakun Niyom, who co-chaired the opening ceremony.

Kilorun Hanoi, held at Ly Thai To Flower Garden in Hanoi, comprises two categories:

1. Kilometer Category - Morning Run with 3 stages: L Run 10.7 km, M Run 6.7 km, and S Run 2.3 km. These stages will take participants past prominent landmarks of the capital, or architecturally beautiful structures such as the Ly Thai To Monument, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Thang Long Imperial Citadel, State Bank of Vietnam, National Assembly Building, Presidential Office, Cua Bac Church, Hanoi Opera House, Phan Dinh Phung Street, and Hanoi Old Quarter.

2. Category KG – Afternoon Run: Enjoy delicious Vietnamese cuisine selected by Kilorun, featuring 8 menus with famous dishes such as Khanh Beo Chicken Pho, Hang Trong Hot Steamed Rice Rolls, Dac Kim Vermicelli with Grilled Pork, Hang Cu Vermicelli with Tofu and Shrimp Paste, Yen Sticky Rice, Hang Bo Pancakes, Huong Hai Sweet Soup, and especially the unmissable Egg Coffee at Giang Cafe.

Contestants will have their weight checked before the race begins. After running and enjoying eight different food options, the person who gains the most weight will be the winner.

The cheerleaders warmed up the show by joining the contestants in some energetic warm-up exercises to upbeat music before the race began.
