According to the plan, Vietnam Airlines, Vinpearl, and the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism will offer free airfare and hotel packages to all journalists who register to cover the event at the International Press Center. Journalists can choose between a package including domestic Vietnam Airlines flights and two free nights at a 5-star Vinpearl resort (Vinpearl Resort & Golf Nam Hoi An, Vinpearl Resort & Golf Phu Quoc, Vinpearl Resort & Spa Nha Trang) or just domestic flights. Each journalist holding a press accreditation card from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs can register for one gift package at the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism's counter at the International Press Center, 91 Tran Hung Dao, Hanoi.

By inviting international media representatives from hundreds of countries and territories to directly experience Vietnam Airlines' top-tier aviation services and admire the beauty of Vietnam's land and people at Vinpearl's leading 5-star resorts, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism believes this activity will contribute to the widespread promotion of Vietnam's tourism strengths worldwide. This activity is also a pioneering effort by Vietnam Airlines, Vinpearl, and the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism to boost tourism development and Vietnam's integration process, in the context of Vietnam increasingly being recognized as a friendly, safe, and attractive destination, becoming a new destination in Asia.
According to official information from the Ministry of Information and Communications, nearly 3,000 international journalists from over 200 news agencies from nearly 40 countries and territories, along with nearly 550 Vietnamese newspapers, participated in covering the second summit between US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
