Established in 2002, the Travelers' Choice Award is TripAdvisor's most prestigious award. The results are based on millions of reviews and opinions from travelers, reflecting the service and quality of brands, products, and travel destinations worldwide.
Vietnam Airlines, the national airline, has received nearly 4,000 reviews in 26 different languages, ranking alongside other 5-star airlines in Asia such as Singapore Airlines, ANA, Korean Air, Garuda Indonesia, Cathay Pacific, etc.
The evaluation criteria include: customer service, seating, legroom, cleanliness, meals and beverages, flight procedures, in-flight entertainment, and overall service quality.
Vietnam Airlines currently operates 90 routes to domestic and international destinations in Vietnam with a fleet of nearly 100 aircraft. In 2017, the World Travel Award named it the "World's Leading Airline for Cultural Identity".
