Ford Vietnam has officially put its 5.1 version test track into operation with many new improvements, meeting Ford Global standards. In addition, the design and specifications of this test track also meet the criteria set by the Government in Decree 116/2017/ND-CP - Regulations on the conditions for manufacturing, assembling, importing and trading in warranty and maintenance services for automobiles.

The test track, with a total length of 1,080m, was built to meet the stringent regulations and standards of Ford Global and Government Decree 116/2017/ND-CP.

“All vehicles manufactured and assembled at the Ford Hai Duong plant undergo rigorous testing on our new test track before being shipped to ensure they meet technical standards before reaching consumers. This is a significant step in the globalization of our manufacturing operations and a testament to our commitment to providing Vietnamese consumers with products of global quality,” said Mr. Pham Van Dung, General Director of Ford Vietnam.
With the primary goal of providing Vietnamese consumers with the highest quality products, Ford Vietnam is applying the most rigorous testing and accurate evaluation tools to its production and assembly lines.
According to Ford's research, besides the stability of the powertrain systems, intelligent features, and safety, minimizing unpleasant noises generated during operation (such as squeaking from rubbing surfaces or rattling of vehicle parts) is one of the top factors determining customer satisfaction. This shows the importance of vehicle inspection to ensure stable operation and to detect and fix even the smallest problems. With the new test track, in addition to checking the vehicle's performance and safety features, technicians can also detect noises (squeak and rattle) emitted during operation, especially when driving over sections that cause body roll, resulting in friction between materials and vehicle parts.
