The IHG Academy programme aims to train people for the hospitality industry, while also providing employment opportunities and contributing to the improvement of the communities in which the hotels operate. The programme's participants come from a variety of backgrounds, including graduates and disadvantaged young people. The programme also works with local vocational training organisations to create employment opportunities for individuals with limited employment opportunities, such as homeless children and people with disabilities. To date, more than 10,000 individuals worldwide have benefited from the programme.

The 'IHG Academy' program trains students professionally to help them become potential human resources for the hotel and tourism industry.
