The "IHG Academy" is a program that connects IHG hotels with local educational institutions to provide job opportunities and career development within one of the world's leading multinational corporations in the hospitality industry. During their internship at the hotels, program participants will experience a professional work environment, rotate between departments, and have numerous opportunities to develop professional service skills. They will not only receive feedback from hotel management but also gain valuable experience for job interviews. Furthermore, interns will have the opportunity to become full-time employees of the hotel upon graduation.

The IHG Academy program aims to train human resources for the hospitality industry, while also providing employment opportunities and contributing to the improvement of the communities where the hotels operate. Program participants come from diverse backgrounds, including recent graduates and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. The program also works with local vocational training organizations to create employment opportunities for underserved individuals such as homeless children or people with disabilities. To date, over 10,000 individuals worldwide have benefited from this program.

The 'IHG Academy' program professionally trains students to become potential human resources for the hospitality and tourism industry. Ms. Huynh My Linh, IHG's Human Resources Director for Vietnam, shared: “We are delighted to partner with the Faculty of Tourism Management at Hanoi University to develop the IHG Academy program. This is IHG's ninth collaborative program in Hanoi to train potential local human resources, contribute to the community, and help provide better services to customers and create a hotel chain that customers love.”
