These are all key relics and destinations of Hanoi, always attracting a large number of tourists when coming to the capital. According to statistics, Ngoc Son Temple and revolutionary relics (5D Ham Long, 48 Hang Ngang, 90 Tho Nhuom, Uncle Ho Memorial House in Van Phuc) attracted 630,000 visitors, collecting fees of nearly 17 billion VND. Hoa Lo Prison relic welcomed nearly 295,000 visitors, collecting fees of 7 billion VND. Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam relic welcomed over 773,000 visitors, with revenue of 21 billion VND. Thus, the relics managed by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports achieved revenue more than 3 times higher than the same period in 2022, exceeding the plan for 2023 by 25%.

To promote the value and create attractiveness for destinations, relics in Hanoi organize many unique cultural activities. The Hoa Lo Prison Relic Management Board organizes exhibitions and exchanges such as: Thematic exhibition "Minute of Revival" to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Victory Day of the return of revolutionary soldiers captured and imprisoned by the enemy (1973 - 2023); organizing 9 exchanges between agencies, organizations, units in the city with historical witnesses. The Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam cooperated with organizations and individuals to organize many cultural and educational activities at the relic: Spring Calligraphy Festival with the theme "Respectful Teacher"; exhibition "Temple of Literature in the revival of Hanoi's heritage in the period 1898 - 1954"; launching activities of the creative space at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam relic; talkshow applying cultural materials in artistic creation... The Center coordinated with the Embassy of Japan to organize the performance of the comedy Kyogen "Bon San" and the exhibition of traditional Japanese masks Nohgaku; coordinated with the state of Hessen of the Federal Republic of Germany to organize awards for students with excellent academic achievements; program "World Harmonious Tea" - Cultural and Tourism Week at Van Lake...

Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports Do Dinh Hong said that from now until the end of the year, the relics managed by the Department will continue to carry out display, exhibition, and cultural and artistic activities to attract visitors. In particular, the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam relic is expected to put into operation a night tour program at the relic; coordinate with the authorities to prepare for a walking space around the relic.
