The Motegi GP was crowned by a superb performance from Francesco Bagnaia, who won both the Sprint and Sunday's race, a result that added further weight to this historic weekend for Ducati.

Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati, said: “The story continues, and what an incredible story we are writing! We are World Champions for the fourth year in a row, proving that when talent, skill and dedication meet, the line between the possible and the extraordinary disappears. On the track, everything seems easy, especially when the results keep coming, but behind every success there is a relentless collaboration: months of design and simulation, hours of data analysis, engine tuning down to the smallest detail, meticulously researched race strategies. All of this is invisible to the observer, but it is behind the scenes where we build victories. There, every little detail makes the difference and becomes the decisive factor in helping a champion perform at his best on track.”

A run of achievements unprecedented in MotoGP history and once again demonstrating the strength of a project built on talent, passion and Made in Italy excellence.

Behind the Success: Technical Data

At the heart of these successes are numbers that illustrate the commitment and meticulous work of the Borgo Panigale team:

Detailed statistics show that to bring the Desmosedici GP to victory, the team spent more than 100,000 hours designing just the vehicle details. This process was supported by more than 11,000 hours of intensive calculations and simulations on Ducati's HPC (High-Performance Computing) computer clusters. In particular, the aerodynamic and engine aspects underwent more than 2,500 CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulation cycles, to ensure optimal performance and absolute precision.

The race car has not stopped at simulation, it has also undergone rigorous real-life testing. There have been more than 5,000 hours of testing on test benches and more than 200 hours of real-world testing with test driver Michele Pirro. Over the course of the season, the team has managed more than 80 engine changes and produced a total of 48 racing engines for the six Desmosedici GP riders.

The meticulousness of the operation is also evident in the way the data is captured and processed: over 1 Terabyte of data collected directly on the track, along with 800 Gigabytes of augmented data, provided the basis for analysis for over 300 technical meetings. In total, the Ducati Lenovo team spent over 30,000 hours in the garage. These figures show that every millisecond gained on the track is the result of preparation and hard work behind the scenes.

In parallel with commercial activities, Ducati Vietnam 2.0 continues to spread the spirit of speed sports from the MotoGP racetrack - where the Ducati Lenovo Team with riders like Francesco Bagnaia and Marc Márquez are constantly on the podium. Pioneering technologies developed from harsh competition environments, such as aerodynamics, optimal electronic systems or the characteristic Desmodromic valve, are all applied directly to commercial models. This gives users in Vietnam the opportunity to clearly experience the "Born to Race" philosophy - born to break through right on the street or highway.

Through community connection activities, experiential events and a comprehensive service network, Ducati Vietnam 2.0 aims to build a space that connects car enthusiasts, sharing a common passion for speed and the typical lifestyle of modern bikers.
