Metropole Hanoi and April Cuisine Program

Following the Goût De France event held at the end of March, the Metropole Hanoi Hotel continues to treat Hanoi's food lovers with unique culinary flavors from France, Australia and India in the April Cuisine program.

The April culinary program begins with a premium champagne dinner from the world-famous Billecart - Salmon wine brand in the romantic space of Le Balcon du Metropole at 6:30 pm on April 5 for 1,200,000 VND/person.

 

In particular, diners will have the opportunity to learn about the history of champagne and the secrets of making premium champagne through the "narration" of Mr. Sebastien Papin - Asia Pacific Regional Director of Billecart - Salmon.

 

 

From April 7 to 24, discerning diners will enjoy the "Taste of Australia" program with famous Australian dishes and wines at Le Club Bar restaurant.

 

The highlight of this April food festival is the culinary creativity of Indian specialties brought by “master chef” Halim Ali Khan to the Spices Garden restaurant of Metropole Hanoi.

Chef Halim Ali Khan, head chef of Spiral restaurant at Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila, will bring “Indian culinary delights” to Spices Garden restaurant at Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi. Diners will embark on a journey of Indian culinary discovery, starting with Naan bread, Tandoori chicken, lamb curries and many delicious desserts.

 

 

Diners have a wide range of choices from a special lunch buffet with Indian dishes such as lentil pancakes with tomato chutney and okra, to a dinner menu that highlights the uniqueness of Indian culinary culture, including a vegetarian menu. The buffet price is 790,000++ VND/person and the dinner menu price is 1,950,000++ VND/person. The unique and unforgettable flavors of Indian cuisine will conquer the hearts of even the most demanding diners.

 

 

Chef Khan grew up in Odisha, a state in eastern India, where he learned traditional Indian cooking from his family. He also spent six years at the Park Hyatt Goa Resort & Spa before joining Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila in 2012. From an Indian Sous Chef, his talent and love for food led him to the position of Executive Chef of Spiral Restaurant – Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila’s flagship restaurant.
