The Miyagi Week program aims to introduce ingredients such as seafood and Wagyu beef from Miyagi Prefecture to Vietnamese diners through restaurant menus. Simultaneously, the program surveys consumer demand to determine the most suitable pricing, aligning with the goal of bringing Miyagi's renowned food closer to Vietnamese consumers.

Furthermore, to create a trade flow for Miyagi Prefecture's products and ensure continuous export, this program will help build and expand Miyagi Prefecture brands to Vietnamese consumers and restaurants, stimulating demand for Miyagi Prefecture food products.

Previously, in 2015, as part of a strategy to expand the market for Miyagi Prefecture's signature products in Vietnam, the "Program to Support Marketing of Miyagi Prefecture Products in Vietnam" and the "Miyagi Shop" program at Aeon Mall supermarkets were launched. The campaign was implemented in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to help Vietnamese people learn about the prefecture's products.
This year's Miyagi Week will feature Japanese restaurants including:
- Ichiba Sushi - 204 Le Lai Street, Pham Ngu Lao Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City
