This activity is part of the “Vietnam Airlines Day Camp” program – a practical career experience in aviation, jointly organized by Vietnam Airlines and Vietfuture.
The first experience attracted students aged 8 to 17 along with their parents to explore the world of "ambassadors of the sky" with diverse activities such as entering the aircraft cabin, simulating the pilot's cockpit, handling flight safety situations, learning about in-flight cuisine, and more.
Experience pilot training in a flight simulator cockpit.
These experiences are not only "real-world professional training" but are also conducted with "real people"—as the instructors are all flight attendants or flight instructors currently working at the National Airline.
In addition to practical activities, the program also includes training sessions on practical knowledge of appearance style, professional work etiquette according to international standards, and the initial development of a mindset for building a personal brand.
Practice the gait and posture of a flight attendant.
Practice applying makeup and styling hair for flight attendants.
Mr. Trinh Hong Quang, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Airlines, stated: "In the coming years, Vietnam Airlines aims not only to provide aviation services but also to delve into activities that contribute to the development of the country."
He also affirmed that through this experiential program, the students will gain a better understanding of the aviation industry, thereby acquiring knowledge and clear direction for themselves and their future.
Practice first aid.
Fire and explosion response training.
In the future, VNA and Vietfuture will continue to cooperate and expand the program to reach more students, as well as connect them with other specialized jobs in the aviation field. Students will have the opportunity to explore more deeply the work of the aviation industry, jobs that are both interesting and challenging.
