Returning after a hiatus of over three years, the once-popular buffet-styled traditional market promises to continue captivating diners with its diverse and abundant selection of Central Vietnamese specialties.
Every Saturday, the familiar atmosphere of a traditional market is recreated in the space of the Lotus Leaf Restaurant, complete with vivid sights, sounds, and characteristic aromas often encountered on the bustling streets of Hoi An. Here, visitors have the opportunity to discover local specialties displayed on wooden carts and sample snacks served in wicker baskets hanging on carrying poles – a distinctive feature of Vietnamese street food.

Featuring a menu of over 50 dishes, many cooked live in the open kitchen, the Street Food Night promises exciting experiences and many fascinating things to discover.
A street food culinary journey
Street food is an integral part of the diverse beauty of Vietnamese cuisine, and also serves as a gateway connecting visitors to the culture and heritage of each locality. The image of street vendors with their carrying poles or small roadside eateries is a familiar sight in the lives of every local person. “At Four Seasons The Nam Hai, Hoi An’s Street Food Night, guests can experience the vibrant atmosphere of a local market with all their senses, while still enjoying the care and amenities of the resort,” shared Executive Chef John Oh.

And to complete the culinary experience, diners will simultaneously be able to admire fan dance performances by Vietnamese dancers in flowing ao dai dresses, accompanied by musical performances of traditional instruments such as the bầu lute, tranh zither, and flute.
Hoi An's rich natural beauty is captured in this package.
The dishes at the Street Food Night are prepared entirely from local ingredients: Fresh seafood caught from Nha Trang and Ha Long Bay, while many organic vegetables are grown right in the resort's own garden.

Unexpected flavors and cultural fusion in cooking techniques will make each dish at the party a true adventure. The diverse menu will include a wide selection of dishes such as grilled oysters, banana blossom salad, Vietnamese steamed rice rolls with lobster, roasted suckling pig with Hoi An herbs, steamed grouper wrapped in banana leaves, or five-spice grilled beef…
Each season brings its own specialties, and the menu subtly changes throughout the year. For example, the pomelo salad will use either white or pink pomelo, depending on the season.
The culinary essence of Central Vietnam is showcased.
The Street Food Night will be a celebration of the culinary essence of Central Vietnam. Dishes will be prepared using traditional recipes and cooking techniques by local artisans and chefs from Hoi An and surrounding areas.
Chef Trang Tran will personally prepare the delicious Banh Khot (miniature savory pancakes). Chef Nguyen Quoc from the ancient capital of Hue will bring the unique flavor of fragrant and hot Bun Bo Hue (Hue-style beef noodle soup). And Chef Nguyen Yen will showcase his skills with Vietnamese signature dishes such as Ha Cao (dumplings) and Bo La Bet (beef wrapped in betel leaves).

The dessert menu, curated by pastry chef Pham Ly, will be filled with the region's finest sweet treats. Of particular note is the Dessert Counter, which will serve a variety of traditional desserts steeped in local flavors, such as red bean sweet soup, lotus seed sweet soup, tapioca pearl sweet soup, and creamy taro and coconut milk sweet soup…
Street Food Night at Lá Sen Restaurant is served from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM every Saturday.
