MoMo continues to maintain its position as the number one e-wallet and a leading platform providing financial technology products and services in Vietnam. To date, MoMo has reached nearly 10 million users and was the most registered e-wallet application in 2018. Transaction volume on the MoMo platform has more than tripled in the past year.

MoMo's business results have been growing beyond expectations due to the rapid development of mobile payment methods in Vietnam, as well as the tech-savvy trend among young people and the preference for cashless payment methods, both for online and in-store transactions.

With these tremendous achievements, MoMo became the only Vietnamese fintech company to be included in KPMG's 2018 list of the world's Top 100 Fintech companies.

It's worth adding that MoMo's remarkable growth over the past year was also thanks to its successful third round of funding from Warburg Pincus – a leading global private equity firm and the largest private equity investor in Vietnam. This investment has provided a huge resource to expand the MoMo payment ecosystem and realize the goal of developing millions of MoMo payment acceptance points nationwide.
