These vintage photographs are evidence of the "relics" of civilization that tourism has discovered: through the cultural customs of a Southeast Asian country, or an afternoon tea under the majestic colonnades on the now-destroyed island of Rhodes... They tell the story of people around the world through the lens of pre-modern tourism. In this case, every storyteller is a tourist, and every tourist can become a storyteller.
