As with the first edition, all entries must meet certain criteria, ensuring a truly authentic winter travel experience with ski lessons for beginners, winter festivals and exciting new attractions.

Required conditions for contest entries:

Visitors staying at least 1 night in the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics venue: GangWon province (Pyeongchang, Gangneung, Jeongseon, Hongcheon, Sorak Mountain, etc.), visiting at least 2 free or paid attractions in this province (Nami point not included).

The program includes at least 1 winter festival experience program or winter sports experience program: skiing, snowboarding... (including rental services of clothes, shoes and ski classes)

4 days 3 nights product from 14,000,000 VND, 5 days 4 nights product from 16,000,000 VND, 6 days 5 nights product must be from 18,000,000 VND or more.
Currently, there are 9 travel companies nationwide including: VietravelHN-HCM, Saigon Tourist, HanoiRedtour, Vietrantour, Viet Media, Fiditour, Transviet Travel, TST Tourist registered to participate with 13 quality products, departing from the end of November 2017 to the end of February 2018.2018.

This year, KTO also encourages travel writers including journalists and power bloggers to write about winter travel in Korea. Writers can write about their experiences or beautiful memories of winter in Korea. The owners of these articles, after posting them on the media (for journalists) or personal Facebook (for power bloggers), will be selected to become 02 guests in KTO's special Famtours in 2018.

For the majority of Vietnamese tourists, KTO also organizes online events, encouraging independent tourists to participate with the prize being a trip to Korea and many other attractive gifts.

In 2017, Korean Tourism continued to aim to attract international visitors. Although facing difficulties in the Chinese market, other key markets still showed steady growth, especially the Vietnamese market. As of October 2017, the number of Vietnamese visitors to Korea reached 272,564, an increase of 29.7% over the same period last year. This is the fastest growing market with a stable double-digit growth rate since the beginning of the year. Identifying the potential and importance of this market, KTO and localities in Korea continuously have tourism promotion activities in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, especially in the last months of 2017.
