Here, the ancient Zen martial arts of Sunmudo are still maintained and developed in Korea under the direct leadership of Zen Buddhist masters.

This art form of Zen Martial Arts (Sunmudo) is not only a gathering place for artists, intellectuals and tourists from all over the country, but also attracts people from all over the world to come and enjoy and learn from it.

When coming to this ancient temple, everyone strictly follows the rules and regulations of the Sunmudo University, also known as Kumkangmun, and their souls become comfortable and light through Zen.

Sunmudo was founded by Bodhidharma, an Indian sage and monk who first introduced Buddhism to Korea 1,600 years ago during the Silla Dynasty. Since then, Sunmudo has been secretly passed down through the centuries of Korean Buddhism.

Golgulsa Temple, this ancient temple is the oldest treasure in the history of Buddhism and is built in a cave in Korea, with a four-meter-high image of Buddha carved into the cliff of Hamyue Mountain, this hillside is known as the twelve meditation caves, created by Indian mystics in the 9th century. This is the center of Sunmudo Zen, also known as Kumkangmun.

Sun (Korean) or Zen (Japanese) is the way to open the Wisdom Eye. In other words, it is a method of practice to realize the Absolute Self through the power of Zen meditation. "Mu" means "Martial" and "Dao" is the path or duty, absolute reason. The training method, in esoteric forms of Buddhism, is a path of practicing Zen Martial Arts combined with Qigong and Yoga to develop the energy of body and mind to purify the three karmas: Body, Speech, and Mind to bring peace to every step.

From the relative realm, going straight into the absolute world, all suffering will forever disappear and we will truly begin to live in a world of complete autonomy - freedom - self-possession.
