The lens tells the story of the world

20/09/2025

Travel is not just about the destination, but also about the moments: camels leisurely strolling on the blue ice lake of Mongolia, the dawn reflecting on Indian women in colorful saris or the clear laughter of children on the streets of Havana... Travel Photography Award 2025 has revealed emotional slices, where the world appears multi-voiced and brilliant in each frame.

The Travel Photography Award 2025 is organized by The Independent Photographer – an international platform for fine art and travel photography, which organizes their prestigious annual awards in the field of travel photography. This year's jury is Michael Yamashita, a renowned photographer of National Geographic. The highlight of the season is the diversity in storytelling: creative perspectives, exquisite techniques and a sensitivity to the spirit of travel – where experience and beauty go hand in hand.

Located in the heart of the Tibetan quarter, this place constantly radiates a stream of energy from the footsteps of pilgrims circling the iconic white stupa in a clockwise direction.
