After the Covid-19 lockdown was lifted, he spent most of his time in Japan. His photographs capture the beauty of the majestic Mount Fuji and the romantic Tadami railways winding through the mountains and forests. Particularly in Hokkaido, where he had the opportunity to experience the dreamy autumn with its vibrant orange and red hues. Japan is not an endless source of artistic inspiration; each visit brings new perspectives to his work.

A photographer's creative journey isn't always easy.photovincent1994He faced many challenges throughout his photography trips. One of the biggest difficulties was the weather and transportation, especially on trips to remote locations like Ginzan Onsen, a mountain resort in Japan.
Due to Ginzan Onsen's remote location, he had to rent a car to save travel time. Additionally, since the nearest parking lot was a 20- to 30-minute walk from the resort, time management was crucial. After finishing the photoshoot, he had to quickly return to the parking lot in the cold weather and drive back on time to return the rented car. Despite the difficulties and fatigue, looking back at the beautiful photos, he felt all the effort was worthwhile.
His works often focus on nostalgia and traditional aesthetics.
Sharing more about his trip to Hokkaido and other trips to the land of cherry blossoms, he described: “This is the first time in my life I’ve seen such a dreamy autumn, when the land is painted in shades of orange and red. I drove over 1,000 km on this trip, from the city to the countryside and even the wilderness. I even encountered many wild animals like deer and foxes along the way, and trains glided past majestic mountains and rivers, all of which left a very deep impression on me.”
Furthermore, I was also impressed with the Tadami route, with its unique mountain and river scenery. I visited in winter and felt like I was stepping into a fairytale world of ice and snow. This section of the road is located in the mountains, winding and treacherous, so there is a speed limit. To prevent drivers from exceeding the speed limit, the authorities have created a special section of asphalt where the melody of the British song 'Country Road' plays as vehicles pass by. If the song plays too fast, it means you need to slow down. I heard this song throughout while taking photos, which I found very enjoyable.”
The photographs often evoke a sense of adventure, of exploring new and magnificent lands.
Despite his passion for exploring foreign lands, Taiwan—where he was born and raised—holds a special place in his heart. He not only focuses on the beautiful scenery of other countries but also dedicates himself to reflecting images of his homeland in each of his works. For him, photographing his homeland is a way to preserve and honor the cultural and natural values of Taiwan, while simultaneously conveying his love for his country to international friends.
