A journey back to nature
Stepping into Cuc Phuong National Park and Xuan Lien Nature Reserve, Ha Hien felt like he was coming home. It had been a long time since he had the opportunity to return to the forest, where the fresh air and the vibrant green of the trees filled his heart with joy. As someone who loves forests and mountains, directly participating in reforestation activities not only brought him happiness but also gave him the chance to fulfill his long-held desire: to contribute to protecting Mother Nature.
Return to the forest, to be embraced by the refreshing green of nature.
Previously, Ha Hien had participated in reforestation with the Gaia Nature Conservation Organization at Bidoup Nui Ba National Park, an experience that ignited in him a strong love for this activity. When Gaia invited him to participate in a reforestation trip to Cuc Phuong National Park and Xuan Lien Nature Reserve, Ha Hien immediately accepted without hesitation. For him, each trip is a small contribution to the fight against climate change and the protection of the environment for future generations.
Sharing with Travellive, the travel blogger said: "As someone who loves traveling and has visited many places, I always feel sad whenever I go to a place where the air is polluted, the natural landscape is destroyed, and most recently, witnessing the continuous natural disasters caused by climate change, I am even more determined to take action starting from the smallest, simplest things, such as planting at least one more tree to protect the forests."
For Ha Hien, each trip is a small contribution to the fight against climate change and the protection of the living environment for future generations.
In nature, the heart is healed.
Throughout the trip, Ha Hien and his fellow volunteers had many memorable experiences, from the moment they set foot in Cuc Phuong National Park to the meditation sessions by the stream at Xuan Lien Nature Reserve. One of the most special memories was when he planted his first trees.
A moment of peaceful meditation by the stream.
Ms. Thanh Huyen (Director of Gaia) shared that when you plant trees with love, they will grow healthier and bring positive energy to people. The moments spent by the stream in the forest at Xuan Lien Nature Reserve, practicing meditation with volunteers under Ms. Huyen's guidance, helped Ha Hien feel a deeper connection with nature. In the peaceful atmosphere of the mountains and forests, everything seemed to slow down, allowing each person to more clearly appreciate the simple and authentic beauty of nature.
"The whole group sat together for lunch right in the middle of the plot of land where we had just planted trees, with traditional local dishes served on banana leaves. Those are memories I will never forget," Ha Hien shared.
And experience a truly "green" meal.
Every tree planted is a promise.
After two days of participation, the volunteer group planted nearly 1,500 trees, contributing to greening the barren areas of the forest at Cuc Phuong National Park and Xuan Lien Nature Reserve. Although it was only a small contribution, Ha Hien and his fellow volunteers felt incredibly proud. "Even though it's just a small effort, this is a very meaningful activity. Each person planting at least one tree helps Mother Nature a great deal," he enthusiastically said.
As an influencer, Ha Hien not only wants to document his journey but also hopes to convey meaningful messages about environmental protection. He shared: "I will actively participate more in environmental protection activities, combating climate change and protecting forests, so that I can contribute to motivating and inspiring my followers to raise awareness and take more action to protect our green planet from the smallest things. We only have one home, so let's love and protect the Earth every day."

The reforestation trip to Cuc Phuong National Park and Xuan Lien Nature Reserve was both a nature-based tourism trip and a journey to "green" the soul for Ha Hien and countless other volunteers.
"I'm very happy looking back at the trees I've planted, and I hope that when I return in a few years, I can see them tall, healthy, and covering the empty land where it is today with greenery," Ha Hien added.
