The opening ceremony of the Festival will take place at 8:00 AM on Sunday, September 1st, at the paragliding landing site in Lim Thai village, Cao Pha commune. Mu Cang Chai district is expected to welcome over 178,000 tourists in the first seven months of 2024, with tourism revenue exceeding 175 billion VND.
This is also the most beautiful time of year in Mu Cang Chai, with golden rice paddies stretching across the valley, creating an unforgettable impression for visitors. Tourists will be able to admire unique paragliding and performance displays from 20 motorized paragliders working in coordination in the air, creating artistic smoke effects. Hundreds of non-motorized paragliders will take off from the top of Khau Pha Pass, fly along the Lim Mong valley, and land at a landing site near the opening ceremony location.

The flag-raising ceremony to celebrate National Day on September 2nd will be a highlight. The competition includes events such as precise landing, high altitude flight, and long-distance flight, with scores based on an international scoring system. Visitors will also have the opportunity to experience tandem flights with world-class professional pilots from August 25th to November 30th.
