The opening ceremony of the Festival will take place at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 1, at the paragliding landing site of Lim Thai village, Cao Pha commune. Mu Cang Chai district is expected to welcome over 178,000 tourists in the first 7 months of 2024, with tourism revenue reaching over 175 billion VND.
This is also the most beautiful time of the year in Mu Cang Chai with golden rice fields stretching across the valley, creating an unforgettable impression for visitors. Visitors will be able to admire the unique paragliding and performance performances from 20 paragliding pilots with engines coordinating in the air, creating artistic shapes with light smoke. Hundreds of paragliding pilots without engines will take off from the top of Khau Pha Pass, fly along Lim Mong Valley and land at the landing site near the opening ceremony location.

The national flag-raising performance to celebrate National Day on September 2nd will be an impressive highlight. The competition includes precision landing, high flying, and long flying with scores based on the international scoring system. Visitors will also have the opportunity to experience tandem flying with world-class professional pilots from August 25th to November 30th.
