Located in Phung Chau commune, Chuong My district, Hanoi (about 20 km from the city center), the "Emotion Station" takes visitors back to innocent and peaceful childhood memories. It offers moments of enjoying the fresh, cool air, listening to the chirping of birds, and feeling the faint scent of ripening rice in the breeze.

Unique coffee-rice paddy model
In fact, the concept of a coffee shop amidst rice fields is not entirely new, and the coffee shop in Chuong My is not the first to boast this unique location. Previously, this concept has made its mark in other famous places such as Bali (Indonesia), Thailand, and in Vietnam, Hoi An and Can Tho.
The appeal of this model lies in its simplicity and closeness to nature, offering a sense of tranquility completely different from the bustling city. Imagine sipping a hot cup of coffee in the early morning or at sunset, gazing at the lush green rice fields stretching out before you, and temporarily forgetting all the worries and anxieties of life.

Touching the realm of rural memories.
Starting out as someone who loves the gentle, peaceful beauty of the countryside, the owner of "Emotion Station," Ms. Pham Ngoc Tram Anh, said: "The cafe started operating during Tet (Lunar New Year) in 2022. The idea took shape after the Covid-19 pandemic, when I often went back to my hometown in Phung Chau with my children. In the afternoons, we would cycle to the fields, play football, fly kites... The countryside scenery at sunset was very poetic, beautiful, and peaceful. From there, the idea for the cafe was formed with the desire to share this space with more people."

To meet the diverse needs of visitors, the cafe has five main sections with thatched or palm-leaf roofs to provide shade and protection from rain. These sections are larger, suitable for larger groups or those wishing to have lunch or dinner.

The rice fields in Phung Chau are known for their two harvests per year, in June and October. At different times, the rice fields take on a new look, for example, when the rice is newly planted and is a vibrant green, during the harvest season, after the harvest, or when water flows into the fields… Understanding this diverse beauty, the cafe is open year-round so that visitors can fully enjoy the beauty of the rice fields in their own way.
Children can go catching grasshoppers and crickets, collecting snails and crabs, picking vegetables, flying kites... immersing themselves in nature and getting away from electronic devices.

More than just a rice paddy cafe
More specifically, the cafe was created not only for business purposes but also as an ideal destination for tourists to explore the beauty of local culture. Located in a rural area rich in ancient relics such as Tram Pagoda, Vo Vi Pagoda, Tram Gian Pagoda, and So communal house, the cafe serves as a stopover on the journey to discover the unique cultural values of this region.
“Alongside its activities, the ‘Emotional Station’ always cherishes the simple, honest people here. Every harvest season, we dedicate all the revenue from selling the clean rice harvested at the ‘Station’ to charity, sharing a little with the needy families in the village,” Ms. Tram Anh shared.
