The journey started from the VW Saigon showroom, where there is a service workshop according to Volkswagen's global standards with modern factory equipment, professional processes and a detailed 7-step vehicle reception and care service. The main character of this trip is of course Viloran, but no less impressive is the Teramont X - a 5-seat SUV that was just launched in the Vietnamese market in March this year.

This facility is built according to Volkswagen's global standards with four main workshops: stamping, bodywork, painting and final assembly. There is a technology center, an energy center, a training center, a display center, an employee activity center... The Ningbo factory has Volkswagen's most advanced bodywork workshop with a total of more than 1,100 robots. This is currently the bodywork workshop with the largest number of robots and an automation rate of up to 78%. The factory also uses Volkswagen's famous chassis system assembly line.

The next temptation of Viloran comes from business-class amenities such as automatic sliding doors, sensor reading lights, 3-mode and 3-intensity massage system, 4-way adjustable backrest air cushion, electric footrest, adjustable headrest, smart compartments for cups, phones, separate button cluster to adjust the front passenger seat... The front cockpit is also designed in a liberal and sophisticated style.

Of course, comfort alone is not enough for a luxury MPV like the Viloran. Performance is also uncompromising. The 2.0 TSI engine with 220 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque helps the Viloran glide smoothly even when carrying a near full load. The car's gearshift speed is only 0.2 seconds with the new generation 7-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The dual fuel injection system and dual intake turbocharger play a significant role in the vehicle's performance. Stability and balance at high speeds are linked to the advanced MQB evo chassis system with independent suspension on both front and rear axles. Of course, Viloran has all the safety and driver assistance technologies such as adaptive cruise control, lane change assist, pre-collision warning, emergency braking system... On the highway from Saigon to Cam Ranh, driving the MPV brings an extremely light and comfortable experience.

Soundproofing panels are arranged from the doors, ceiling, floor to the engine compartment partition. The soundproof and heat-insulating glass for the windshield and sunroof is up to 4.96mm thick. Teramont X accompanies Viloran on his journey
The 2.0-liter TSI turbocharged engine on the Teramont X is the same as the Teramont but has a different gearbox (Teramont 8-speed AT), however, this change, along with the addition of a series of smart driver-assist technologies, has created a unique quality for the Teramont X.
The combination of engine, drive system and 7-speed dual-clutch transmission... on Teramont X brings quite powerful and more responsive operation. Through the inner-city roads and then across the highway from Ho Chi Minh City to Nha Trang, Teramont X still gives sensitive response in every throttle operation. This brings a very flexible operating feeling. The steering wheel on Teramont X varies with speed, quite light but real at the first throttle and more stable at high speed. Meanwhile, on the coastal route of Ninh Thuan and then DT702 to Cam Ranh (Khanh Hoa), there are many steep passes and sharp turns... With 4 people over 1.65 meters tall sitting in the car with personal luggage... Teramont X gives a solid driving feeling thanks to Volkswagen's MQB chassis platform. The chassis combined with the stability of the suspension system and the very real response from the steering wheel helps the car turn corners quite smoothly.
In fact, in addition to having to press the accelerator pedal deeply from the first stroke, reaching maximum torque (350 Nm) from 1,600 to 4,300 rpm, Teramont X proves to be flexible and powerful when overtaking the vehicle in front or climbing steep slopes. When the rpm reaches over 2,000 rpm, the turbocharger system opens to create great acceleration, making the 5-seat SUV shoot up quite quickly after each stroke of the throttle.
With its strengths in design, technological features, powerful and smooth operation, and competitive price, it is easy to understand why Teramont X quickly attracts customers in Vietnam.
