Volkswagen Touareg – a business-class SUV, affirming its position

Throughout its history, the Volkswagen Touareg was positioned by the company as the most advanced, high-end SUV in its early days, the pride of the Volkswagen brand and still is. The Touareg version distributed in Vietnam belongs to the third generation, developed on the famous MLB platform of the Volkswagen Group and produced on the same production line as luxury cars such as the Audi Q7, Q8 and Porsche Cayenne. Even more special, this platform is also shared with supercars such as the Bentley Bentayga and Lamborghini Urus.

Volkswagen Touareg focuses on high-end experiences for upper-class and business customers, to affirm their position in work and society, through the technology and amenities in the car, or simply from the classy name "Touareg" that is known worldwide.

With the amount of leading technology, Volkswagen points out that the electronically controlled stability control system on the current generation Touareg is capable of calculating the movement of the body 400 times per second. From there, the car makes timely adjustments and enhances the driving feeling depending on the road conditions. Combined with the air suspension system, the Touareg raises the chassis up to 70 mm higher than the standard when in Offroad+ mode. When running at high speed (120 km/h), the chassis automatically lowers by 15 mm and automatically increases when slowing down. This brings a different experience in harmony between the sporty feeling and the comfort when sitting in the Touareg.

Inside the Touareg's "Innovision Cockpit" cockpit is a 12.3-inch Digital Cockpit display system connected to a 15-inch multi-function entertainment screen, creating a luxurious curved glass surface and minimizing physical buttons, increasing gesture control. Touareg's elite passengers can also relax thanks to the concert-like sound quality transformed by the 14-speaker sound system crafted by the famous Dynaudio hand-crafted speaker company and comfortably sit on seats equipped with massage functions.

Volkswagen Touareg is equipped with a 2.0 TSI engine, 251 horsepower at 5,000-6,000 rpm, maximum torque of 370 Nm at 1,600-4,500 rpm. The car has an 8-speed automatic transmission, full-time 4-wheel drive. The car has 7 driving modes: Eco (economy), Comfort (comfort), Normal (normal), Sport (sport), Offroad, Snow (snow), Custom (custom).
