Throughout its history, the Volkswagen Touareg, from its early days, has been positioned by the manufacturer as the most advanced and luxurious SUV, a source of pride for the Volkswagen brand, and remains so today. The Touareg version distributed in Vietnam belongs to the third generation, developed on the renowned MLB platform of the Volkswagen Group and produced on the same production line as luxury models such as the Audi Q7, Q8, and Porsche Cayenne. Even more notably, this platform is also shared with supercars like the Bentley Bentayga and Lamborghini Urus.

The Volkswagen Touareg focuses on a premium experience for the elite and business community, aiming to affirm their status in work and society through the technology and amenities in the vehicle, or simply through the prestigious "Touareg" name that is known worldwide.

With its cutting-edge technology, Volkswagen points out that the electronic stability control system on the current generation Touareg alone can calculate body movement 400 times per second. This allows the vehicle to make timely adjustments and enhance driving feel depending on road conditions. Combined with the air suspension system, the Touareg raises its ground clearance by up to 70 mm above standard in Offroad+ mode. At high speeds (120 km/h), the ground clearance automatically lowers by 15 mm and automatically raises again when decelerating. This provides a unique experience, harmoniously blending sporty feel and comfort when sitting in the Touareg.

Inside the Touareg's "Innovision Cockpit" is a 12.3-inch Digital Cockpit instrument cluster seamlessly connected to a 15-inch multi-function infotainment screen, creating a luxurious curved glass surface and minimizing physical buttons, while enhancing gesture control. Touareg passengers can also relax in concert-quality sound delivered by a 14-speaker sound system crafted by the renowned handcrafted speaker manufacturer Dynaudio, and enjoy comfortable seats equipped with massage functions.

The Volkswagen Touareg is equipped with a 2.0 TSI engine, producing 251 horsepower at 5,000-6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 370 Nm at 1,600-4,500 rpm. It features an 8-speed automatic transmission and full-time four-wheel drive. The vehicle offers seven driving modes: Eco, Comfort, Normal, Sport, Offroad, Snow, and Custom.
