Press conference for the Franco-Vietnamese Job Fair

This year, in Hanoi, the Franco-Vietnamese Job Fair will take place on May 11, 2019, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the ARMY Hotel, 1A Nguyen Tri Phuong Street, Ba Dinh District. In Ho Chi Minh City, the Franco-Vietnamese Job Fair will take place on May 18, 2019, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the NOVOTEL Saigon Center Hotel, 167 Hai Ba Trung Street, District 3.

The main purpose of the Franco-Vietnamese Job Fair is to provide an opportunity for French and Vietnamese businesses to meet and recruit highly qualified young Vietnamese professionals with the skills to work in an international environment. It also aims to give young Vietnamese people, especially those who have studied in French or international programs, access to career opportunities, learn more about businesses, and raise awareness of current labor market trends.

With an expected 250 applicants in Hanoi and 400 in Ho Chi Minh City, the event also brings together graduates, young professionals just starting their careers, experienced candidates, and those looking to enhance their skills and connect with recruiting companies. Seminars in English or Vietnamese will be held concurrently during the event, aiming to improve interpersonal skills and share experiences among participating applicants.

The Franco-Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFV) and France Alumni Vietnam – the French Embassy in Vietnam – have jointly organized the Franco-Vietnamese Job Fair since 2014. The event was first held in Hanoi and has since been held simultaneously in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City from 2016 to the present. In 2018, the event attracted over 700 applicants and 47 companies.
