With the theme "Energy Technology - Environmentally Friendly Solutions," Entech Hanoi 2016 will take place over three days, from May 18th to May 20th, at the ICE International Exhibition Center, 91 Tran Hung Dao Street, Hanoi. This is the 8th time this event has been organized under the direction of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Hanoi People's Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Van Long, Deputy Director of the Department of Science, Technology & Energy Saving, spoke at the press conference.
The exhibition spans over 6,000 square meters, featuring nearly 200 booths from approximately 150 domestic and international organizations and businesses, showcasing energy-saving and environmental technologies and products from Vietnam, South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, the Czech Republic, and more. Nearly 200 booths display energy and environmental products and technologies across various sectors, including environmental treatment equipment, manufacturing plant equipment, energy-related equipment, high-efficiency equipment, and energy-saving and environmentally friendly household appliances.
One of the objectives of this fair is to create a convenient environment for businesses to access advanced, knowledge-intensive technological solutions, gradually replacing low-efficiency equipment with high-efficiency equipment to reduce input costs and enhance business competitiveness. At the same time, it aims to facilitate meetings, exchanges, business cooperation, and technology transfer among businesses operating in the energy and environment sectors. Furthermore, it will showcase models of energy-efficient products and solutions, as well as products labeled as energy-saving.
Besides visiting the exhibition booths and products, visitors can also participate in side seminars such as: the seminar "Guidelines for building action plans to apply Cleaner Production in industry and action plans to respond to climate change in Hanoi's industry and trade sector" (2:00 PM - 4:00 PM on May 18); the seminar "Solutions to improve energy efficiency in buildings and construction works" (9:00 AM - 11:00 AM on May 19); Application of the latest technology for integrated boiler systems; Introduction to Biomass power plants and waste-to-energy recycling; Introduction to the safety of the advanced APR1400 reactor (2:00 PM - 3:40 PM on May 19); and the seminar on solutions to improve energy efficiency in industry (9:00 AM - 11:00 AM on May 20).
Within the framework of the exhibition, an awards ceremony will be held for the "Green Technology Products" competition, organized by the Department of Industry and Trade. This activity aims to honor advanced products in the field of energy saving and environmental protection.
