Since 2008, Fusion Group has continuously expanded its presence in the region with 16 operating hotels and resorts in popular tourist destinations in Vietnam and Thailand. In 2023, the group will open Fusion Resort & Villas Da Nang, Fusion Suites Hanoi, and the first hotel of its new HIIVE brand in Binh Duong, Vietnam.
Christopher Hur, Chairman of Lodgis Hospitality Holdings Pte. Ltd (“Lodgis”), owner of Fusion Group, shared: “Through our operations at hotels and resorts over the past six months, we have observed very positive signs of tourism recovery. We are optimistic about the strong growth of tourism and visitor numbers in Southeast Asia. As the frequency of business trips and tourist arrivals increases, we have many advantages in terms of destinations, differentiated services, and an increased number of resorts and hotels to meet the needs of our guests.”
The hotel openings and new brand launches in 2023 will mark new milestones in Fusion Group's strategy for developing and expanding its presence in Southeast Asia.
HIIVE Binh Duong will be the first hotel in the HIIVE brand, launched this year by Fusion Group. HIIVE is positioned as a hotel chain catering to professionals and business travelers, located in Vietnam's renowned industrial and financial centers. Situated in the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park, HIIVE Binh Duong offers 172 elegantly designed, dynamic, and fully equipped rooms suitable for business trips, along with relaxation and entertainment services to ensure successful and inspiring business travel. The hotel also features conference rooms, a co-working space, a 3D golf simulator, a fitness center, and a bar.
Fusion Resort & Villas Da Nang is considered a key destination in Fusion Group's opening plan for the year. Located in Da Nang, one of Vietnam's most attractive destinations, the resort is expected to welcome guests this autumn. Fusion Resort & Villas Da Nang features 85 villas, ranging from one to six bedrooms, offering 242 rooms and a full range of wellness experiences and services – Fusion's signature all-day breakfast and wellness treatments. Each villa has its own unique style, a well-equipped kitchen, a garden, and a swimming pool, creating a lifestyle close to nature. Four restaurants serve meals throughout the day, and there's a poolside bar. Maia Spa has 26 treatment rooms, and a fully equipped fitness center allows guests to enhance their experience and balance their physical and mental well-being throughout their stay.
Peter Meyer, CEO of Lodgis and Fusion Group, further emphasized: “In recent years, wellness tourism has become a top priority for travelers. This has become part of the 'DNA' and a unique selling point throughout the services offered at Fusion hotels and resorts since its inception in 2008. From the beginning, Fusion has been a pioneer and leader in wellness tourism and all-inclusive spa services in Vietnam. We always focus on creating unique hotels and resorts that inspire and guide guests to experience a balanced physical and mental vacation throughout their business or leisure trips.”
HIIVE Binh Duong will be the first hotel in the new HIIVE brand chain launched this year by Fusion Group.
Following this, Fusion Group will mark its first foray into the capital with the opening of Fusion Suites Hanoi around early 2024. The hotel is located in a high-end commercial building in a convenient location, very close to Hanoi's famous tourist attractions such as One Pillar Pagoda, the Presidential Palace, and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.
Fusion Suites Hanoi offers 238 guest rooms, the Fresh restaurant, Maia spa, Japanese-style on-sen, and a variety of wellness services, all in keeping with Fusion's signature style. The hotel boasts a warm and elegant design with pastel tones and wood accents. Designed for extended stays, rooms include kitchens and laundry facilities. Larger rooms feature spacious living areas and well-equipped kitchens and dining areas.
“The introduction of new brands and the opening of new hotels and resorts this year is part of our long-term development goals and the creation of unique hotel brands in the region,” Peter Meyer further emphasized. “With a solid foundation and long-standing business operations in Vietnam, we believe the group will increase the number of resorts and hotels thanks to favorable macroeconomic growth and a young population. Along with Vietnam, we also aim to develop our presence in Thailand and expand the presence of our brands in Southeast Asia in the near future.”
