The Quang Ninh Museum was established in 1960. In 2013, the Quang Ninh Provincial Museum and Library complex, consisting of three buildings (Museum, Library, and Conference Center), was inaugurated to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the province's establishment. This quickly became a tourist destination and a must-see check-in spot when visiting Ha Long. The Amazing Tour 7 team, along with their Ford Territory 2023, also had the opportunity to travel along the coastal road and explore this place.
The Quang Ninh Museum has a first floor showcasing the natural conditions and resources of Quang Ninh, such as minerals, geology, and biodiversity. The second floor features a historical exhibition of Quang Ninh, spanning from prehistoric times to the end of the war against the US. The third floor presents stories of Quang Ninh in the modern era, with exhibits on topics such as the history of the coal industry and the culture of the ethnic groups in Quang Ninh province. All exhibits are presented chronologically by guided tours, making it easy for visitors to understand the information. The Quang Ninh Museum is open from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Tuesday to Sunday. Entrance fees are only around 30,000 VND per adult, making it very affordable for visitors to spend a day exploring the museum.
