This summer, visitors and heritage lovers will have the opportunity to embark on a journey back in time through the exhibition "Golden Heritage - A Convergence of Excellence," a special event taking place at Long An Palace - a place that preserves the precious memories of the ancient capital.
Continuing the activities of the Hue Summer Festival 2026 and in response to the events launching the "Hue in Autumn" festival, the Hue Imperial Citadel Relics Conservation Center, in collaboration with the Hue Royal Antiquities Museum, the Ho Chi Minh City Antiquities Association, and private collectors, is organizing an exhibition with the desire to honor the values of national cultural heritage and spread love for Vietnam's treasure trove of heritage.

The exhibition brings together 23 collectors with more than 100 rare artifacts and sets of artifacts crafted during the Nguyen Dynasty. This is a rare opportunity for the public to admire treasures bearing the distinct mark of the imperial court, from artifacts made of gold, silver, enamel, and bronze to textiles, ceramics, and wooden objects.
Each artifact reflects exquisite craftsmanship, distinctive artistic vision, and cultural values preserved through generations.

The exhibition space is structured around four overarching themes: Imperial Authority - Court Rituals and Order - The Quintessence of Crafts and Fine Arts - Enduring Golden Age.
Each theme offers a vivid glimpse into the court life of the Nguyen dynasty, helping viewers better understand the etiquette, royal power, and the talent of ancient Vietnamese artisans.

Each artifact is not merely a display item but also a "historical witness," preserving within itself the stories of a glorious period in the nation's history. Through each carved detail, each layer of vibrant enamel glaze, each exquisite pattern on ceramics, or each gold thread on textiles, viewers can feel the refined beauty, subtlety, and cultural depth of the imperial city of Hue.

In particular, the exhibition is also an opportunity for the public to meet and interact with antique collectors – those who have dedicated much effort to preserving heritage values. This is not only a display space but also a bridge between the past and the present, between heritage lovers and the community, contributing to spreading awareness of preserving and promoting traditional cultural values in today's life.
Within the framework of the exhibition, the Hue Imperial City Relics Conservation Center also received many valuable artifacts and documents donated by collectors, including a cloisonné enamel plate, a royal decree from the Thanh Thai era, a wooden box containing royal decrees, and a set of documents from the Duy Tan era related to the renovation of Nguyen Dynasty architectural works.

These artifacts will continue to be studied, preserved, and their value promoted, contributing to enriching the heritage collection of the Hue Royal Antiquities Museum.
Held at Long An Palace – one of the most beautiful wooden architectural works of the Nguyen Dynasty – the exhibition becomes even more meaningful as the exhibition space itself is a precious heritage. Amidst the glazed tile roofs, the intricately carved wooden columns, and the solemn atmosphere of the ancient imperial palace, each artifact seems to return to its "home," offering visitors authentic and emotionally rich experiences.

The exhibition "Golden Heritage - A Convergence of Excellence" will take place from July 10th to October 9th, 2026 at Long An Palace, 3 Le Truc Street, Phu Xuan Ward, Hue City.
If you love the beauty of heritage, appreciate timeless values, and want to explore the cultural depth of the ancient capital, don't miss this special exhibition. Every step through the exhibition space will be a journey back to history, allowing you to better understand why Hue has always been a hub of Vietnamese cultural excellence and an indispensable destination on every traveler's heritage exploration journey.
