The ChaTraMue tea brand was founded in 1945 in Thailand by Mr. Tan Passakornnatee. Initially, ChaTraMue was just a small tea and coffee shop in the Chinatown area of Bangkok. Later, ChaTraMue developed and expanded its tea business nationwide, with tea plantations and factories in Thailand.
Currently, ChaTraMue has 105 stores in Thailand, and is expanding to regional markets such as China, Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia... with about 43 stores.

No need to go to Thailand to enjoy ChaTraMue
In Vietnam, Thai milk tea has been introduced to tea shops for a long time, but most of them only have green milk tea, red milk tea or Thai lemon tea, and no place sells all the dishes on the official menu of ChaTraMue. Therefore, when this brand entered the Vietnamese milk tea market, it made many people eager to try the whole set of unique drinks of ChaTraMue.
With its inherent popularity and the word of mouth that "when you go to Thailand, you have to drink it", it is not difficult to understand why ChaTraMue has created such a "storm" when it opened in Vietnam.

On June 9, 2023, the ChaTraMue milk tea brand officially "landed" its first store in the Vietnamese market at 52 Ngo Duc Ke, Ben Nghe, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. Immediately, this brand was enthusiastically supported by milk tea lovers because of its prime location right next to Nguyen Hue walking street. The ChaTraMue store is designed with simple white walls and the brand logo right in front of the facade.
Not wanting to be outdone by Ho Chi Minh City, on March 8, 2024, the ChaTraMue brand appeared in Hanoi to satisfy the expectations of the capital's "milk tea addicts". With a location right in the city center (59 Ba Trieu, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi), it will surely captivate not only the young, but any diner should experience it once to become a "fan" of ChaTraMue.

The price of milk tea at ChaTraMue ranges from 55,000-60,000 VND/cup, other drinks are around 35,000-75,000 VND/cup. Although the price is a bit higher than in Thailand, the flavor of milk tea is still considered quite similar to the original. Because the process of making milk tea is kept the same as in Thailand to produce the most authentic and delicious flavor. The staff will brew the tea, filter it in a cloth sieve first. Then, add condensed milk, skimmed milk, tea essence and stir well. The order of the ingredients is not changed to produce a cup of milk tea with the right Thai flavor.
