Julien Royer opens first Hong Kong restaurant
On 18 June, French chef Julien Royer will be teaming up with JIA Group to open a traditional French restaurant, Louise, at PMQ. The restaurant, which serves simple, refined food, is Julien Royer’s first venture outside Singapore. The entire interior of the restaurant will be supervised and designed by internationally renowned architect, Andre Fu.

Sip Song Restaurant
Sip Song Restaurant is inspired by the beach culture of Southern Thailand and the night markets of Bangkok. The menu is developed by Chef Nuch Srichantranon, who was born and raised in Bangkok. Typical Thai dishes include: roti kor muu yang prk pow (chicken), crispy shallots and chili. In addition, the Australian dishes at the restaurant will also be very special thanks to the chef of the Russell Doctrove group. Rajasthan Rifles Restaurant
The Black Sheep restaurant chain has been doing very well in Hong Kong recently. Following the launch of Hotel Colombo and Taqueria Super Macho, Rajasthan Rifles will soon be opening on The Peak.

Rajasthan Rifles is renowned for its Anglo-Indian cuisine, reminiscent of the historic values of the 1920s. The restaurant will be open daily from 7:30am and the menu will be overseen by Chef Palash Mitra.

John Anthony Gin Festival 2019
Gin lovers will not want to miss the Hong Kong Gin Festival 2019, which will take place on Saturday, June 8, 2019. The festival will be held from 11am to 4pm at John Anthony. There will be 13 world-class bartenders and over 30 gin brands on display.

The finest artisanal products from Applewood, The Botanist and Gin Mare will also be on hand. Guests can also enjoy gin-based cocktails paired with signature dishes such as wagyu beef char siu, sweet and sour pork, vegetables, mushrooms and black pepper and spring rolls. Man Wah Tea Pairing Menu
Man Wah, Oriental Hong Kong's Chinese restaurant, is offering a tea pairing menu from now until June 28. Man Wah's menu features seven courses paired with premium Chinese teas.
The blend includes wild black tea from Guizhou province blended with fried abalone, suckling pig and sea cucumber marinated with yuzu.

Shi ya ba green tea from Huizhou province is paired with half a lobster in a premium broth, fried chicken with black beans, and pan-fried wagyu with Matsutake mushrooms.
Finally, Wuyuan yellow chrysanthemum tea from Jiangxi province will be paired with steamed winter melon with crab meat, "fairy hair" seaweed and ginger panna cotta dessert.

Happy Hour at Daarukhana Restaurant
Indian restaurant Daarukhana is offering happy hour every day from 5pm to 7pm starting on Saturday (June 8).

Drinks on the happy hour list include beers starting at HK$48; premium cocktails and wines at HK$75; spirits at HK$68.

Japanese Restaurant, FUMI
The Japanese restaurant, FUMI, will open on June 16th with a wide range of dishes including appetizers and salads, sashimi and sushi, tempura and grilled dishes. There are also many choices of main dishes including: Japanese seafood soup, miso cod, small vegetable pot, Japanese grilled chicken teriyaki, A4 Miyazaki beef and Himi udon.
