One of the seven restaurants opening soon will feature renowned chef Julien Royer. These are all ideal destinations for visitors to enjoy culinary delights this June.

Julien Royer opens the first Hong Kong restaurant.

On June 18th, French chef Julien Royer will partner with JIA Group to open Louise, a traditional French restaurant, at PMQ. The restaurant will serve food in a simple yet refined style and marks Julien Royer's first venture outside of Singapore. The entire interior design will be overseen and designed by internationally renowned architect Andre Fu.

Sip Song Restaurant

Sip Song restaurant draws inspiration from the beach culture of Southern Thailand and the Bangkok night markets. The menu was developed by Chef Nuch Srichantranon, who was born and raised in Bangkok. It features signature Thai dishes including roti kor muu yang prk pow (chicken roti), crispy shallots, and chili. Additionally, the Australian cuisine is a highlight, prepared by chefs from the Russell Doctrove group. The restaurant also features a children's play area with games such as giant Jenga and noughts, and a cross on the wall.

Rajasthan Rifles Restaurant

The Black Sheep restaurant chain has been very successful in Hong Kong recently. Following the launch of Hotal Colombo and Taqueria Super Macho, Rajasthan Rifles will soon open in The Peak area.

Rajasthan Rifles restaurant is renowned for its Anglo-Indian cuisine, reminiscent of the historical values ​​from the 1920s. The restaurant will be open daily, starting at 7:30 am, and the menu is overseen by chef Palash Mitra.

John Anthony Gin Festival 2019

Gin enthusiasts won't want to miss the Hong Kong Gin Festival 2019, taking place on Saturday, June 8th, 2019. The festival runs from 11 am to 4 pm at John Anthony. Thirteen world-class blenders and over 30 gin brands will be featured at the event.

Man Wah Tea Menu

Man Wah, Oriental Hong Kong's Chinese restaurant, is offering a tea-pairing menu from now until June 28th. Man Wah's menu features seven dishes paired with premium Chinese teas.

The combination includes wild black tea from Guizhou province brewed with fried abalone, suckling pig, and sea cucumber marinated in yuzu.

Shi ya ba green tea from Huizhou province is paired with half a lobster in a premium broth, fried chicken with black beans, and pan-seared wagyu beef with Matsutake mushrooms.

Finally, Wuyuan yellow chrysanthemum tea from Jiangxi province will be paired with steamed winter melon with crab meat, "fairy hair" seaweed, and ginger panna cotta dessert.

Happy hour at Daarukhana restaurant

Every day, the Indian-style restaurant Daarukhana introduces a happy hour from 5 pm to 7 pm, starting on Saturday (June 8th).

The drinks on the happy hour list include beers priced from HK$48; cocktails and premium wines at HK$75; and spirits at HK$68.

FUMI Japanese Restaurant

The Japanese restaurant, FUMI, will open on June 16th, offering a wide variety of signature dishes including appetizers and salads, sashimi and sushi, tempura, and grilled items. In addition, diners will have many main course options to choose from, including Japanese seafood soup, miso cod, mini vegetable pot, Japanese teriyaki grilled chicken, Miyazaki A4 beef, and Himi udon.
